"You get what you pay for. There was no one around the desk area ever, no toiletries-bring your own hair shampoo and body wash, toilet paper was one step above writing paper, heater was super loud and never went off! Light bulb was out in bathroom -thought it would be taken care next time housekeeping came thru -nope. Front door to hotel didn’t latch so open to anyone all night. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs."
"Nothing special. Room was clean but super cramped & unfortunately we were put right by the front on the lower floor right by the ice machine so one of our dogs was constantly barking at the ice falling or people going by. Staff was friendly& helpful."
"Great location close to things, but rooms are in need of some up keep and updating. The staff was friendly. Our child had gotten sick so I made a trip to the front desk to ask for some new sheets. I waited in line and witnessed the desk attended getting belittled by what appeared to be an intoxicated woman. He was very friendly with her the whole time but she was relentless. He handled the situation very well. Checkout was smooth in the morning."
"After staying here in a different room thought we'd try again and after girlfriend gets done with work I see what I thought was a nat on the bed and I go to kill it and it's pure red blood on the sheets now. We packed up and left at 3am sat and did laundry until 7am to rid the feeling of bed bugs. And to add a little more I pulled out the head board and there's a frickin sticky mouse trap where my head was laying. I go and pick up the bed skirt and bout 15 bed bugs fall to the mold dirt infested floor. This was Sept 29 I demanded a refund and so far I've been offered a 15% off my next stay!!? You really think I'd ever be back nope. Plus front desk guy is creepy I stayed in room 112 was told the next day there was no bugs I was grossed out of my skin and that's why I never took pictures I wanted out of there asap ."
"Stayed at this place while in town, it was a great stay! I really do have to give it to the front desk lady, Tina! She really helped me with spots to visit in Winona & really made me feel at home. She was very helpful, respectful, just really all around great! She definitely made our stay a little easier as I wasn’t sure of things to do with my 6 month old daughter. I definitely will be staying again because of how great her customer service was."
