"I lived here in the early 08 for 5yrs and it was ok. There are a lot of upgrades that could be done, like insulating the windows. I remember when I lived here back in 08,every winter you could feel the cold air pass through the windows, and the windows would rattled. The windows aren't insulated. And the neighbors were noisy sometimes. And the toilets would clog easily. But over all it is a ok place to live, I guess??"

"I have lived at The Overlook Apartments for about a year and a 1/2 and I love it! Its a small complex- so everyone kinda knows everyone so it really feels like a Community. I have never experienced that before-It is pretty awesome and gives me a sense of security. These other reviews have me a little confused- All my neighbors are awesome and the Manager that I know here is super sweet and tries to work with us on amy issues we have had. As for the "vermin" the other people we talking about- I dont know why they just dont tell Management about the issue- because they have a pest control company that will come out on call... Also the 1 bedrooms are only $800- not $1000. They have a ton of storage and wood floors. They have a BBQ area, so you dont need a BBQ. The laundry is only $1.25 per load- not bad to me and they just got brand new washers and dryers a few months ago. Also- We are right down the street from old town Auburn and The fair grounds. I can walk to fast fridays and not have to pay for parking! I can also walk to the bars in old town and not have to drive- There is also a Gym within walking distance- it is so conveniant! As for the train- I never hear it in my apartment. Those people were also complaining of the insulation- Tell me what apartment you have ever lived in when you cannot hear other people's showers- I dont think one exists! If it does- LET ME KNOW! haha ANyway- for those people looking to move- I wold recommend The Overlook anytime- I intend on sticking around. Most people I know are staying as well- They barley ever have apartments available because people end up staying. Silly reviewers!!"
