Baymont by Wyndham La Crosse/Onalaska

"The staff accused my little brother of pouring shampoo in the whirlpool and having shampoo/ product in his hair even though his hair is NATURALLY CURLY! (Nobody in my whole entire family put anything in they’re hair prior to coming in the pool.) The whirlpool creates bubbles! They’re weren’t even soap bubbles in the whirlpool, they were regular whirlpool bubbles caused by the jets! Then they kicked us out the pool! I stayed here 2 times before and never have we been treated like this, the whirlpool made bubbles before and they’re wasn’t no problem. Now all of a sudden this random employee I had never seen before come messing with us. If I had to guess, they were racially profiling. A white man was in the whirlpool a couple hours while we were swimming in the main and there were no problems there, and the same bubbles forming. Yet we were the problem, to give them the benefit of the doubt it was just the one employee that was tripping… everyone else was nice and friendly. Regardless not coming here again SMH"

"NEWLY RENOVATED ROOMS are spacious and clean! The suites are especially large and very well appointed with wet bars and hot tubs. Ricky is always very service oriented and focused on providing his guests with a great stay. Sharon at the desk is friendly and always accommodating. They are currently remodeling the breakfast area for an even better experience- although we have always been pleased with the hot and cold options offered. We stay frequently while traveling for business and will continue to do so!"

"Great place! Best value in town. It's clean, everything works that's suppose to and the staff is awesome! Thanks for a great stay. My crew and I will stay again if we are in the area."

"The whole hotel seemed very dirty, the sinks were scratched up and the toilet paper wasn't even replenished. Everything to the walls, seems very old and dirty. I don't mind staying in an older hotel but it was definitely not clean and was nervous about bedbugs."

"The room is good. It's clean. (No bed bugs as I saw in a different post) It was humid but once we got the air going it dried up. Room is also large. The location is convenient because it's right off the hwy so easy to access. The lady at the front desk who checked in was very nice. The pool is open late so that's nice! It's affordable for the area and definitely worth the price. Recommend staying here if it's to be a hotel aka you're not in the room all day. Will stay here again for sure when in La Crosse."
