The Boardwalk Apartments

"I lived at the Boardwalk for around 7 months, where I had a 6 month lease and 1 month of "month to month". I had informed the staff in writing in October that I would be moved out by early December. Despite this, they still charged me the full month's rent for December. I contacted them about this mistake and they said there was nothing they could do except refund the money when I receive my deposit back. Deposits are supposed to be returned no more than 21 days after move out. It has been 2 entire months, and I still have not seen my December's rent (which they weren't even supposed to charge me) or my security deposit. The office is oftentimes unresponsive, and I have gone weeks without hearing back from management over email. They also double sold my parking spot leading to my car nearly being towed 2-3 times."

"The office of these apartments are extremely disrespectful and evil. They towed my car without warning when it was in my parking stall ! The tow company they towed it with is charging me 400 dollars to get my car out and it has t been 24 hours . I called the office they continue to ignore my calls and they continue to hang up on my face. The ladies in the office told my roommate they were waiting to get more parking stickers until they do to park in the unit parking and they would call us when the received more stickers for parking in the meantime they took down my license plate so they would know not to tow.They completely lied and acted as if they didn’t tell me these things and are being very nasty lieng calling police saying I was threatening them when all I ever said was this is wrong and they need to reimburse me for my car the illegally had towed. I have been trying to talk to the head manager the refuse to let me speak to them. The ladies in the office know they are wrong and have been doing this to multiple other tenants it’s a complete scam. No wonder these apartments are easy to get into. Don’t rent to stay here they will pick at u and be evil and do things like this because they have been getting away with it for to long. I will have my lawyers be contacting them. And I will sue whoever is needed! Kendra in the office is very inappropriate sleeping with tenants who are married and multiple other men I have seen her sneaky out of apartments and she to lives there in a separate unit. I have kept my mouth closed and minded my business but since she is attacking my family I’ll let it be known!"

"The staff here is very friendly and have always completed my tasks even though it may take a while to get through to them. The only issue I’ve had is with dogs. I’m still a bit upset that they let service animals here who have a bite record. I’ve been attacked and had to sue my neighbor but a dog who pees on our stuff seems to be gone. Otherwise I do appreciate them reimbursing us for accidentally towing our car. Mixed reviews but I still think they are overall professional and helpful."

"Office staff has been very responsive and attentive to our concerns, our maintenance request are fulfilled the next day. Kendra in the front office is who I deal with most and she is always very attentive. The grounds stay clean as well."

"i have been very happy since moving in to the Boardwalk Apartments a few months ago. there were a couple of issues with my apartment, which had just been remodeled super nice. the management was very receptive to my service requests, and the repairs were completed within 2 days. the complex is well-kept, the neighbors are friendly, and i feel safe here. highly recommend!"
