"A lot of construction going on. I stayed for two nights and still haven't gotten a hot shower. Something is going on with the boiler. The place is nice and clean and the lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful in the cold water situation. A lot businesses around. Everything is within walking distance and there's a dispensary almost right next door. They did refund me part of my money. Which I am thankful because $108 per night and no hot shower was definitely to high. I would definitely come back to stay if the hot water is on."

"Wait until construction is done before staying here. Parking lot was partially closed due to construction on Front Lobby structure. Construction trash container located in parking lot. Limited parking. Half of downstairs lobby is closed off by plastic sheeting. The shower water is the rooms was cold/warm at best. Rooms should be discounted during construction. The rooms were clean and upgraded. Nice blackout curtain to keep light out. The employees were all nice. Expect a long check-in process with lots of card swipes. The check-in process should be much more efficient. If this place was cheaper, it would be great but with all the issues, not worth the price at current state of construction. Breakfast biscuit was OK. Overall - Disappointing but has potential."

"Beds had bed bugs as both of us in the room ended up waking up with bites spread throughout our body. There was not a room cleaning person available to switch our bed sheets either, so we had to sleep with the same bed sheets the next night."

"My husband and I own our own company and we stay in hotels all over the West Coast. Even though Turlock seems like a small town in central California I have to tell you that my husband and I love this motel more than pretty much any other motel we've stayed at. Not only are the staff incredibly exceptional and accommodating but the continental breakfast is quite good. I couldn't ask for a more comfortable environment in a hotel or better staff every time it's just been an all-around great experience! I want to give a big round of applause to Jacqueline, Aaron and the manager Stephanie. They are all wonderful people. Thank you for always being so inviting."

"My experience at this hotel and with choice hotels in general was very poor. As you can see in the pictures the primary issue I dealt with was bugs being in our room. The hotel was overbooked so they couldn't move us and gave us bug spray after we asked for it. This issue doesn't need any explanation Obviously having a bug-infested room presents numerous safety and cleanliness concerns. However, the other issue is with the management, specifically the GM Stephanie Baker, she never reached out to me after I contacted her, not even to apologize. I had to follow up with her to try to resolve this. After finally reaching her she didn't honor the compensation that I was told I would receive and she didn't seem to care about the issue. Lastly, I called Choice Hotels directly and they displayed the same attitude. They have terrible customer service and don't care about customer experience. I spent 90 minutes on the phone and on hold, I asked to speak with a manager and never got to. I was just told they were busy. The whole situation was handled very poorly and I didn't appreciate how I was treated, I would advise you to avoid choice hotels but definitely don't stay at the comfort suites in Turlock."
