"Ashley at the vineyard apartments is the best person to go to for help! She is so informative and helpful about the whole application process. Any questions I had she was so kind and supportive! She had such a great attitude and was very nice to talk to. Great manager!! I will definitely be recommending this place because of her. You don’t see a lot of people her age so well spoken and well mannered."

"Before renting from the vineyards be aware they will not be giving you your deposit back. We rented our unit for 2 years and had minimal issues which was great as first time renters. They had us leave a double deposit which was completely understandable as we were first time renters. Our 2 years living there we seen multiple units left completely destroyed and we would never do that, I will admit we did leave about 5 nails in a small area of our wall & could’ve cleaned the carpet but there was no major stains rips tears or holes and absolutely no odor. They are trying to charge hundreds of dollars to replace a carpet that their “trusted” carpet company said cannot be cleaned. Charged over 400 to “repaint the unit” a 300 cleaning fee and a few other miscellaneous charges. I have pictures and videos of how we left the unit and it was nowhere near a mess it may have needed a mop and wipe down but for the most part we left it in great condition. I’ve tried to voice my concerns to the assistant manager but keep getting my concerns escalated to resident services and a lawyer of there’s but have not heard from either and we moved out in September. It’s very frustrating that they cannot even provide proper receipts to show why they are keeping over $1500 of my money. I have tried weeks to call and email but have not been able to get more than “your concerns have been escalated” email back."

"Luis At The Vineyard Apartments in Gilroy has been really great. The staff there and Luis have explained everything to me when it comes to the application process and all the paperwork that needs to be turned in. They make sure that everything is completed and if I haven’t turned in something the reach out to me. They have reached out to me within 24 hours when I leave a message and every time I call there they’re ready to help they go out of their way and beyond to make sure that the application process is as smooth as possible. I would recommend this place to anybody. I have not yet been assigned to my apartment or have gotten a move-in date but I know that it will be soon and I know that they are working on it and that they are doing everything possible to make sure that I am soon part of that community and I’m very excited to be part of that community especially having management and staff do and be there anytime I call I know that I can say I will be living in a great community where management is available at the hours that they should be and if they are not, I know I can leave a message or an email and they will get back to me as soon as possible. I can recommend this place to people who have been struggling with other apartment complexes who don’t take the time to explain in detail the application process. I have gone through different apartment complexes trying to get an understanding of the process. Understanding of why they don’t get back to me for days or weeks and this is the only place that I can tell you has done all that and more for me. "Current Tenant, Luis the property manager lacks any management skills whatsoever, zero resolution, zero motivation to keep tenants happy, is ok trying to be relatable with you but the minute you try to be relatable with him he wants to take offense and kick you out of the office. Had a leak in our ceiling due to bad seal on upstairs unit balcony, they cut a hole open and discovered water damages and mold . That was the 15th. They caulked the balcony upstairs but their floor board is falling apart . Do they know? Doubt they were told. Still have yet to hear what the plan is to fix. I have a respiratory compromised toddler. They sprayed bleach and called it a day claiming it needs to dry and they kept saying then they’ll mud it and patch it up. I went into the office looking for answers and since he always mentions to us he understands bc he too has a child, I said I would hope you understand since you have a child and he proceeded to kick me out of the office and acted like I personally attacked him and his family when I simply wanted understanding . My son has been sick every morning since . Asked for property owener info and he lied and gave me attorney information. What a joke."

"The Vineyards apartments is not the place you want to live, Luis Garcia is the leasing manager he is unprofessional and would often talk about his personal life to me which made me feel uncomfortable at times especially when he didn’t answer the phone I would have to walk down to the office to see if he was even there as I would tried to explain my problem to him he would venture off into his personal life which I don’t really care for I was only there to let him know why he wasn’t answering the phone and why the maintenance calls have not been answered. Luis was never on top of things it would always be a week or two weeks before he would even get back to me. Throughout the year that I have lived here same thing since the beginning of the Lease, he would continue not answering the phone or emails that are sent or even maintenance calls I almost had to wait a week for my washer and dryer to be fixed and only for him to tell me that he was on vacation for a week must be nice. Also I had problems with the water for almost 4 months majority of that time it was cold. Also cars have been broken into in front of the Hacienda restaurant. It’s a shame that Luis Garcia is not a good manager it’s disappointing for his unprofessionalism and the embarrassment of the apartment complex. Not only that I had called at the beginning of March to ask for my leasing renewal options and my 30 day notice he never sent out the 30 day notice that I had asked for over the phone and also he lagged on giving me the lease renewal options until the end of the month. I’ve seen miss treatment of the workers that work there I had left my window open one day and heard Luis over the radio yelling at one of the workers there which was very sad and very upsetting. Also the garbage areas were always getting broken into, I had called a few times to complain about it because the garbage would be all over the parking lot from the homeless people digging through the trash and this went on for almost a year. Some of the tenants that have left the Vineyard apartments have reported him to fair housing, i’ve also asked to speak to Luis‘s boss Annalissa Leonido she is the vice president of ABL properties and I’m hoping that she will get in touch with me so I can discuss the concerns that have been happening here at these apartments."
