"Hello, I am a resident of the Cannery Apartments at 1501 Hacienda Ave . I have been having severe problems with my electricity. I have discussed these problems with management many times as well as submitting multiple work orders. The manager suggested we contact PGE to look at the problem. We did so, and PGE notified us that it was not a problem with PGE and suggested hiring a licensed electrician to look at the problem. Management has not sent over any licensed electrician, but, instead, sent over people not familiar with electricity. They noticed that there were broken wires behind the oven and attempted to fix this assuming that was the problem; however, after this had been “fixed” the electricity was still acting up by turning off sporadically. Currently, the electricity is completely not working and so there are no working lights in the apartment room. We have attempted to go to management after this, and they then made a very stereotypical and borderline racist response by dismissing our problem as “all of you Russians are the same and have this problem because of you.” After multiple attempts to calls to managers, they have just repeatedly hung up. At this point, we are at a loss on how to continue with this situation as management has not helped us in any way, even after a recommendation from PGE about the imperativeness of getting a licensed electrician. Please help us resolve this issue as it is becoming unsustainable and potentially dangerous to live in an apartment with such electrical problems."
