"THEY NO LONGER OFFER BREAKFAST. Even though it's all over every website including theirs that they do. This is annoying because I was debating staying at the Best Western which does offer breakfast but I thought this place sounded a little nicer. The morning coffee station is just one single Keurig machine (that the "descale" light is on) with two types of Costco brand coffee offered - light and medium). (I don't ever use the in-room coffee pot at hotels because I don't trust that they are clean, but the one in our room looked clean FWIW.) To get in the lot under the hotel is tricky (7' maximum vehicle height). You better hope noone wants to leave when you are coming in or vice versa. And when you leave, your only safe option to navigate to your destination is to turn right on Curtner and then drive around a few blocks until you can turn (either right or left) on Camden again (from Bascom). The room is clean, but the sink has a crack in it and is missing it's stopper. The shower just has 2 dispensers for body wash and shampoo/conditioner conditioner combo, so bring your own shampoo container is the combo stuff doesn't work for your hair. The mini fridge works but was missing shelves/racks and the little freezer compartment hasn't been defrosted in a long while so it barely had enough room in it for one lunchpack refreezable gel ice pack. The staff is nice and the room is fine and comfortable and all but this is not a 3 star hotel anymore. This is more like a 2 star hotel like Motel 6 or Best Western. I would probably stay here again, but I would stock up on granola bars or individual yogurts or something for breakfast beforehand. At least there is a microwave and mini fridge in the room."

"Older hotel that needs to be revamped. Old furniture and carpet. Wall paintings need to be updated. For the price you can't beat it. Under garage parking. Great friendly staff and reasonable price. Right next door to food restaurants. Location is ok."

"We loved the old fashioned decor reminded us of past places we stayed when we were younger. The hotel was clean, nice to have an elevator in the garage. The rooms and the beds are quite comfortable. We will stay there when we are in the San Jose area."

"room desperately needed remodeling. Big sliding patio door wouldn't budge to get some needed fresh air because the old carpet smelled like dirt and feet. Room was very dark and cave like. the coffee maker had an old moldy used coffee pack in the water tank, had to get a clean one from front desk. finally the spa tub was stained and dirty. very disappointed because I've stayed there 2 other times in rooms on the 2,nd floor that are totally pleasant and satisfactory."

"I liked this hotel. It was easy to find. There is a parking garage under the hotel. It did seem to fill up as the night went on, but I was able to find a place, thankfully. I think if you're arriving super late you might want to ask them where to park if it's full so you're prepared. The front desk people were good. The place is really neat inside, an instagramer's dream for photo shoots. The only weird thing was they made you sign something that it wasn't their responsibility if you were robbed (your room or car). Kinda scary. I thought maybe they suffered break-ins or something, but then somebody mentioned that it might be the cleaning staff that is stealing. I don't know, but I didn't see a safe (didn't really look). I only stayed a night, but I wouldn't stay here more than one night unless I found out they had safes in which to keep your valuables. Overall great stay, however. Bed was comfy, bathroom was beautiful, large and overall, the room was well outfitted."
