"Long story short....due to an unintentional modification in health insurance I was unable to continue with my usual doctors. I was used to Sharp and Scripps medical providers which have been nothing but wonderful. It's been nothing but a mess with Medi-Cal and that's me being nice. Until I spoke with Melissa at River's Edge. She actually knew to reach out to me to confirm information she had received that she felt was incorrect--I had tried to get ahead of it and resolve but was assured the dr would take care of it. They obviously didn't but I'm so grateful that Melissa did. She called me right away to reconfirm the correct information and infusion info. It's mind-blowing to me that so many preventable errors occur due to lack of or miscommunication completely, especially within the medical industry. Melissa stayed on the phone with me while I had a meltdown even though she was supposed to be off work--and it was a friday. Plus, my situation wasn't even caused by her--but I was so thankful that finally someone corrected and also understood my frustration with everything."
