"Theresa is so wonderful and found me exactly what I needed and right away also. She even helped me locate the other half of the prescription for my cat. They are amazing here, and definitely go above and beyond to help!"

"Extremely rude and unprofessional pharmacist. Out of basic ASHP compliance! In pharmaceutical compounding, "particulate matter" is one of the main concerns. There is step by step procedure that is set by ASHP that minimizes possible complications due to injection of the particulate matters in the patient's body. In simple words, particulate matter is the term that refers to any small particle that may enters the medication solution and consequently gets injected to the patient's body. These can be glass particles, cotton small threads, plastic or rubber small particles, etc. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians get hours of training on how to correctly choose the correct angle for the needle insertion, and other specific technics to prevent complications due to entrance of harmful material in the patient's body. My girlfriend had to minimize the delays in her booster COVID shot. We decided that she goes to the nearest pharmacy that could provide the service for her and this pharmacy was the closest one available. After she came back home, she told me that she is very surprised and concerned about the injection technic. She said that the pharmacist placed a thick band-aid on the site of the injection first and then passed the needle over through the band-aid and injected her the booster. When she complained that why he didn't inform her what he intended to do. The pharmacist replied, "This is the Walmart way!" I was very upset as this unapproved method is totally out of compliance. All the ASHP recommended technics are for prevention of entrance of little particles to the needle. Now what this pharmacist done was to intentionally choose an unsafe approach and maximize the chance of entrance of dangerous little particles to the needle shaft and vaccine's solution. I called the pharmacy and asked to talk to the pharmacist. After a long wait, the pharmacist picked up the phone. I introduced myself and told him about my concerns. Although I was very concerned i kept my tone and conversation professional. He didn't let me finish and cut me off and said, "This is the Walmart way!" I reminded him that Walmart cannot override ASHP or any other authority's safety guidelines. He said that he followed their given policy. This was more confusing because there is no "Policy" about injection. I told him that as a pharmacist he needs to remember what is right and what is wrong and never put his patients in danger. Again, he cut me off (and every time he increases his voice as if he is shouting) and asked, "is the patient in ER, or anything happened to her?" I reminded him that most of the threatening complications that are caused by particulate matter stay hidden and show their damage after a long period of time, when it is too late to fix anything." He just repeated everything he said before and added with impatience that I can call the corporate and complain to them. He added a lot of sarcasm to his conversation and "wished me lock" for that conversation. From this moment he only voiced over mine and cut me frequently by sarcasm. I asked him his name and her responded with sarcasm and laughter "Yes, ha, yes my name.....Yes, I'm Alex!" I told him "It was not my intention to call the corporate but at this time I am going to, because I'm not happy with your answer and your tone." He was still talking over saying "yes, go change the world, yes, yes, go change the word!" This is beyond and realm and definition of unprofessionalism. I couldn't even believe that a pharmacist would ever act, speak and behave like that. Since then, I prepared a paper for all the students at our school and used this as a teaching opportunity about unprofessional behavior in pharmacy. I will continue to share my experience with the public until I hear or read somewhere that Walmart has improved the professionalism of their pharmacy staff. My girlfriend experienced pain and inflammation at the injection site on her arm for 5 weeks. The pain is gone, but our worry is that the complications come back in a different form."

"Not helpful at all. Don’t comply with California law. Will tell you they can’t do things they most certainly can and have done before in the past. Very short tempered and rush you away from the counter rather than actually help you with anything that might be inconvenient for them. This pharmacy is not abiding by California law or Walmart policy. Whoever is on shift thinks they make the rules for the company. Will be returning my purchased items and telling all my friends and family to avoid this Walmart."

"Walmart Pharmacy complaint UPDATE 6/30/19, EVEN WORSE NEGATIVE 5 ⭐'S IF POSSIBLE Jenny the "Store Manager"(claimed she was) needs to be FIRED for her behavior, rudeness and flat out unwillingness to try and do anything to resolve a simple solution even at the pleading of the Pharmacist and staff to so so. Walmart Pharmacy hit a new LOW today. HORRIBLE PLACE. They do not care about you as a person. Went today for the 3rd time to get the remainder of my Prescription that Walmart did not have enough of then1st time. Pharmacist Lucy said they would not charge me for the remainder, however she was not there today. After waiting 45 minutes for them to change a label, I was told I had to pay cash. I explained my conversation with Lucy and showed them the text from Walmart showing the Prescription was ready at $0.00. The pharmacist said they couldn't override it so they got Jenny who said she won't help. She refused to look at the $0.0 charge text, refused to listen to the Pharmacist who said they could call Lucy to clarify anything, refused to listen to the rest of the staff and walked away after suggesting I come back again for the 4th time knowing but NOT CARING that coming in causes me a lot of pain! During the hour of waiting around it made my diseases flare up worse and my legs started twitching/spasming uncontrollably. Then the aggravation that Jenny added made my health problems get even worse which will take many days to recover from. Wallmart has now lost several thousand a month in consistent business as well as $600 groceries/household because I will never go back to a store that treats customers with such lack of dignity and respect. I talked to the Wallgreens Pharmacist who was very nice, helpful and respectful. Such a pleasant change to be treated as a human versus Wallmart cattle heard "wont help you attitude" 6/29/19 Has Banker Hours, never open. No other Pharmacy in the area closes at 8pm during the week and 5pm or earlier on the weekends. That does not work well in Southern California life. I have many serious diseases: Type 1 Diabetic, Rheumatoid type Arthritis, Stiff Person Syndrome (very painful to move any muscle) among several other challenging autoimmune diseases. AKA, I have a lot of expensive prescriptions every single month. However, I have had many problems with this Walmart's pharmacist's not giving me my medications due to Walmart wanting to ask my Dr's question as to why they are prescribing me medications. My Dr is okay with it, my insurance is okay with it but Walmart has questions so there is a delay in prescribing? Due to all of my diseases, I take a lot of medicine. Also, Walmart usually does not have my full dosage of my prescriptions either so it requires multiple trips, which causes me a lot of necessary pain, or just short dosages if I choose to avoid the pain. They also then want me to pay cash for the pills they didn't have(no insurance, I talked to the Pharmacy manager Lucy and she said she would waive the cost and it would be $0) However, If I miss my medications it causes me serious damage, a lot of pain and possibly even worse, hospital or death. I never appreciated Walmart Pharmacy making me feel like a drug addict just because I have serious and very painful diseases. It would have been nice for them to consider my diseases and understanding myself first before treating me like a drug addict. Wednesday I tried to pickup my medications before my trip but showed up at 8:05 and they had just closed. I spent the past 2 days in the Emergency Room, went to Walmart to get my medicine today at my first chance, got to the pharmacy at 5:03, oh too bad to sad CLOSED again. If they would have had the proper amount of my medication in the first place, I would not have had to go back now 3+ times. Walmart Pharmacy is too much like Walmart itself. You are a number not a person and there are many numbers that always come so compassion is hard to find at Walmart."

"I have personally been to this pharmacy a few times so all my information is stored there. On Easter Sunday while I was the park with my family I kept receiving text messages that my prescription was ready... I ignored them at first but after receiving the 2nd message on monday I decided to call the pharmacy and inquire about it. I come to find out that someone with my same name (different birthday ) had filled their prescriptions there. The things that bother me was that during the drop and pick up of the one of the prescriptions the birthday difference was not noticed. The excuse I was given was "language barrier". Now this person walked out of the pharmacy with my address (now it's different ) but again the manager "Lucy" said it would not make a difference since i didn't live there anymore. Now I don't know about other people but I am very particular about my personal info floating around in the hands of strangers. I spoke to "Lucy" a few times and I was supposed to recieve a letter from corporate which was sent to wrong address (see above) even though I provided Lucy with my current mailing address. Now if I'm making a big deal out of this was because my insurance was also charged (returned after we figured the mistake) it's now June 23 about 2 months after it happened and have yet to hear from corporate. I waited to write this review to give them time to hear from corporate. .. 2 months is more than enough. If you care about your personal/medical info do not go there because if you have a common name ( mine is definitely not) they may mess up charge your insurance and have your personal info floating around with some stranger."
