"I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed in Rio Vista Veterinary Services. The staff were friendly but the vet was terrible. He was rude, curt and spent more time criticizing me for my dog's teeth than dealing with the pressing issue which was that my 4 pound toy Poodle had a ruptured anal gland which was infected. He was in terrible pain. The vet was not gentle. Then he continued to talk down to me as if I was supposed to know all about ruptured anal glands. Then he only gave my dog one shot of antibiotics and didn't give us antibiotics to take home. Needless to say my poor dog was sick within a couple days so I called back. But instead of just giving me antibiotics, he said my dog needed surgery! I told them I wanted antibiotics and they scheduled surgery for the following Monday. By Monday my dog was so much better! I called and told them I wouldn't be back."

"The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and understanding of you and your pet's needs. This was our Pet's first time at this vet and our pet was a little nervous and scared. The veterinarian invited us to visit every 2 to 3 months to help with our pets feeling about the place. The veterinarian is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and also kind and caring. The prices are very reasonable and they have a wide range of services available."
