Golden Cup Homestead

"My partner and I have been to Golden Cup twice -- we stayed first at the Creek Dome (didn't have 4WD but it's a quick steep hike down from the assigned parking) and just got back from the Sister's Earthen Yurt. We love the place so so much. It is so clear how much intention and care has gone into creating and maintaining this amazing series of structures, all extremely relaxing and calm. The hosts provide all of the basic necessities for a thoroughly comfortable and restorative retreat. Each yurt/structure is so well designed to create a sense of privacy and calm -- very grateful to the people that have made sure this place exists!"

"I’ve stayed at Golden Cup twice, in the Garden Dome and the Sisters Yurt, and I absolutely love it!! Everywhere on the property is so beautiful, and filled with the sounds of frogs and birds and the running creek. It’s a great place to retreat and relax for a reasonable price. The architecture is just gorgeous and so unique, particularly at the treehouse and the sauna. I highly highly recommend doing the sauna. The inside of it is unlike any place I’ve ever been, the walls and the lighting and the decorative glass and the benches make it feel like you’re in some primordial spiritual cave or something. And then stepping right out of that into the woods to rinse off at the outdoor shower is just amazing. The whole sauna experience put me in the best mood, I was totally blissed out. And the facilities at each of the domes/yurts/cabins are great. It’s just a great place to step away from everything and simplify your life for just a couple days."

"This place is so dreamy and beautiful. The landscape is stunning, and it's dotted with trails that lead to yurts, creekside treehouses, outdoor showers, a compost toilet with an incredible view, and more. The hosts are super sweet and welcoming. This place is the ultimate retreat because of the nature and because there is no cell phone reception! There's wifi at one spot on the homestead, so you can be really intentional about unplugging. I was only here for two nights, but time spread out and slowed down, and I feel really restored, even after such a short visit. I can't wait to come back!"

"I love Golden Cup. It always is a magical and healing place for me. I’ve stayed in Garden Dome, Sister’s Yurt, Cabana, and Big Yurt. All are so comfortable and I feel like I can fully relax when I’m there. I’m also obsessed with the tree house and sauna. The architecture makes you feel like you’re in The Hobbit. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and can’t wait to visit again. The hosts are SO responsive and helpful and kind. You won’t regret it."
