Downey Inn Luxury Suites

"This place is trash! None of the TV's are smart, and they are too small for the room. This place looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 80's they have tile walls. Some areas of the wall look damaged, and they simply just added random tile there, and in my bathroom, room 106, there's an area where there just a damage wall and no tile. The shower is garbage, and the shower head was cheap. I took a shower and a pool of water accumulated at the bottom. My girl had to wait for it to drain for almost an hour. The title of "luxury " needs to be removed and replaced with " last resort." Obviously, the owner has no plans of investing in the place, so I suggest to the general public that you don't invest your time here."

"I arrived at 4am on Saturday, and Checked out on Sunday at 11am, and it was a fair price for a safe, clean very basic, no frills Room. I will return if ever in need."

"I had never in my life been in such a scary, smelly and unmaintained hotel. i didn't even bother to ask about the condition of the place. I thought that just like restaurants had to meet basic health standards to stay in buisness, hotels had their equivalent but i was wrong. I immediately left the place did not stay and i was not offered any kind of refund but i prefer to loose my money than to expose my family to such conditions. 1. Place looks shady. There are dirty people maybe cholos/gangmembers just randomly standing outside the rooms and none of the Doors seem secure. 2. There are aromas coming out of the rooms of what appeared to be from certain substances. 3. Rooms smell like they smoke inside 4. Rooms look, smell and feel dirty 5. Rooms are not properly maintained. Metal fixtures are coroding, Doors dont close properly."

"Purchased a week but left prematurely due to the high amount of gangsters and sketchy people that dwell here. The door hinges and bolts were extremely damaged and loose and felt as if a few good kicks from a grown man could knock the door in. I had to block the room door with the small dining table provided in order for me to feel slightly secure. Could not sleep at all due to the chaos and noise going on from 2 A.M. all the way until 6 A.M. on the weekends. Do NOT bring any kids here. Do not stay here if staying alone or if you or your party consists of only women. This hotel is incredibly unsafe to the average person and is not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination."

"For 1 bed its currently $320. Based on reviews from two different rating sites, I didn't expect too much. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The rooms/bathrooms are clean. No foul odors. The fridge works good. The sheets & towels were white, and again...odor free."
