Buckets Pub 2nd Round

"Its sad that their reviews remain so high, theyre all old reviews, from when Buckets was great... I myself had to delete my previous review to make this edit. Ill start with service because it was great, the lady who took our order was extremely nice, polite, amd attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is a bit cluttered and random people inject themselves into your conversations, or just talk to you out of the blue... they arent rude (at least to me) but i dont like it. I feel like if there was a bit more space between the tables and stools it wouldnt happen as much, but moving on. The food the last 3 or 4 times has chamged for the worst, from smaller, slimey feeling grilled chicken wings, to the very generic nachos they serve at high prices because they serve it ridiculously, to the "smash" burger i had last time that wasnt smash, but a frozen puck that had no seasoning, the only thing i could taste was freezer burn and made me queezy enough i couldnt finish it or my beer. The cheese curds have more grease than cheese... fries are good when ordered "extra crispy" because they are cooked long enough to make the thick fry not soft and starchy. Over all im sad to see a place near me that I amd many enjoyed for decades sliding down hill, charging top prices for cheaper frozen foods. Id love to see them step back up the level of quality we grew to love, even if the prices have to go up to reflect our current economy. I dont think ill be back there for awhile"

"Food was great and it was a busy evening however mustve been a disconnect in the kitchen. Our food came out sporadically and there was a lot of time between each order. Made reservations for a large party and when asked where we were supposed to sit, instead of directing us to the hostess the bartender was rude as heck and told us just to put some tables together. Rude and completely disrespectful"

"We went to Buckets Pub today…. and it happened to be the Grand Opening with the new owners. It was great! We got a table immediately. While we were there, we saw a bunch of people we knew. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. New menu…. with plenty of new items. TVs everywhere to watch sports. Buckets is the perfect neighborhood pub. Highly recommended…. And we will be back for sure!! My suggestion of the day… try the Smelt Bucket!"

"Ordered 50 grilled and 50 mild wings for 4pm pickup on February 19th. Went there at 3:30 pm had a few drinks and the picked up the wings. The staff was awesome and the wings were very delicious. This is the second year in a row doing this. They do such an incredible job. Hats off to your establishment and your employees."

"Everything was delicious, the cheese curds were especially yummy. I thought the crispy chicken salad was overpriced for what was really just a lot of iceberg lettuce. We still want to go back and try different things. Service was friendly too!"
