"We went to Hob Nob in the summer. The atmosphere with the restaurant surrounding the lake was stunning. The restaurant itself had an interesting old vibe feel with the decor. It has a large bar area with yummy cocktails. We visited the bar as we waited for our table. We were "fashionably late" (we under estimated the drive from the southern region of Wisconsin to the restaurant) we called, and they were very accommodating about our tardiness. We were seated timely at our table with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. We were fascinated by the boats passing by as we were eating our delicious entrées.I had the crab cakes and my husband had a delicious steak and our friend had a steak and said it was the best steak he ever had. Our friend had the pork chops and said they were excellent. The food was exceptionally presented rather quickly between courses. The only complaint I have about this restaurant is I felt we were rushed, hence the four star review on service. Maybe I was too engrossed in the atmosphere and wanted to spend more time gazing out the large window or could be since we were late, someone else was scheduled for the table.. Sorry for the long-winded review, but I like to paint the whole picture about the restaurant verbally because, unfortunately, I took only one photo of the dining room (one we were not seated in). I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices were comparable to other fine dining restaurants. We save this adventure for our special occasions, and every visit has not been disappointing. Look forward to returning."

"We had an amazing dinner. We arrived a little early to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. We had a reservation for dinner and we were seated promptly inside the main dining area. Our waiter was very pleasant. This is the first time we didn’t order a steak dinner. We both chose seafood and we both agreed it was fabulous. No room for dessert. Recommend making a reservation it gets busy."

"It was everything we heard and more! Hob Nob is located lakeside with breathtaking views. From the moment we entered, we knew it was going to be an excellent "supper club" evening. The atmosphere, the people, the cocktails, dinner, and the decor were outstanding. After all, who doesn't like hearing a little Sinatra while sipping on an Old Fashioned and enjoying a great night ?"

"Had dinner with some friends. The atmosphere was great and it located next Lake Michigan. In December it is definitely decorated very well. All the food that I tried was very good. Starting with the appetizers, the were all good. The fried onion rings came out as a loaf and was delicious. That was enough to feed the whole table. The stuffed mushrooms were incredible. The crab cakes were delicious and we used the garlic buttery that came with it for the bread. Then we moved on to the cesar salad and spinach salad which were wonderful. I was able to try the Lamb Shank and Steak au Poivre. Both were wonderful and had great flavor. I was pleasantly surprised how good the black pepper was on the steak and was a great touch. The lambs shank and butter parsley red potatoes had the perfect taste and texture. Then we finished it off with all the desserts. My favor was the Strawberry Schaum Torte and Creme Brulee. Worth a stop for me when I was in the area."

"Awesome old world supper club on the water of lake Michigan. Great food & drink. The decor takes you back in a classy way. Old Fashions & Brandy Alexanders are a staple. I personally love the chicken or steak Oscar. My husband loved the ribs, and the Weiner schnitzel was delicious."
