"While shopping I asked for assistance and though the clerk was polite; she did not speak English!! Why do I have to speak Spanish to conduct business in my own community?! Why do I have to speak Spanish to get a job in the county my people were forced to come to, enslaved in and KILLED, if we tried to read!! Killed if we tried to learn English. Killed if caught speaking our own language. Forced to forget our Native languages and denied a proper education to learn English. This is another business I will no longer spend one penny of my hard earned African American money!!"
"Was JUST there. 2/12 @ 830am. Literally watched someonee steal and walk RIGHT the door with a bag of Valentines stuff. Security did nothing but talk to the woman about "wow, you really gonna steal' as she walked out the door. I don't blame Security because I've heard it before that if they put their hands on someone they get sued. This location and El Cerrito is getting bad. Thankfully I'm just visiting!"
