"Overall, I and my groomsmen had a great experience at J. Robert's Menswear in Janesville. I have had some bad experiences with Men's Wearhouse with awful suit measurements and poor customer service so I decided to make the trip to Janesville from Madison to try something different. All of the measurements and suits came out PERFECT which attests to the level of detail, time, and attention they put into accurately measuring each individual. There was one issue with a pair of rental shoes being the wrong color, but they had a fix for it immediately. A huge shoutout goes to Brad for being flexible and extra helpful every time I came in or called with questions. One area of improvement that I could offer is having a more thorough and accurate record keeping process as most things (measurements, orders, customer questions, etc.) seemed to be done on paper. This isn't terrible, but there were some redundancies of employees calling with questions that I had already answered. Overall, I highly recommend J. Robert's Menswear for those looking for a different and more professional experience than what is offered at Men's Warehouse in Madison."

"Prompt and thorough service for all your menswear needs. First time I came in I needed a new collared shirt and they took the time to fit me for one that was the perfect length for my suit coat. They also did an excellent job with a dry cleaning the week of my wedding, and the shoe shine was way better than I could ever hope to do. Every staff member is extremely polite and provides excellent customer service. Can't recommend these guys enough."

"spot on adjustments and easy to do business with. I got a suit for a wedding tailored here back in November. They were quick and easy to work with given my ignorance of such things (I don't have a lot of experience with formal wear and these kind of places). I had some Kohl's cash that I used to get 3 pairs of slacksfor next to nothing, but they never come in the right sizes for me personally, so I took them here to get the length adjusted (worth the cost to fit perfectly for the next 5yrs). 2 for 2 good experiences."

"Kyle helped me out tonight. Top notch service, quality clothing, and at a reasonable price. I'm 6' 5" and finding dress pants that fit is virtually impossible anywhere else locally. Kyle helped me find pants, a dress shirt, and sport coat in less time than I wasted digging through racks at other stores. He hemmed the pants while I waited and I was on my way. It's refreshing to have a place like this in town. I'll be back the next time I need something for a special occasion!"

"Overall would definitely not recommend this place, was initially lied to by a female employee(who apparently no longer works there) indicating that shipping is available for my wedding rental suit one week ahead, since I live 2hrs away from Janesville. Not only did they not fulfill this promise on their end, they made me wait until the last minute i.e., 2-3 days before my wedding day to pick the suit up from Janesville, so I was obviously not able to alter my sizing as I have lost a few lbs since I put in my order. Quality was bad and color of the suit was ugly, the ties that were “supposed to match”the suit’s green did not match at all and is made of cheap material. 0 stars!"
