Threads Consignment

"Dishonest I took in a basket full of coach, Michael Kors, Sheen, Crombie, and Fitch. H&M I’ve been taking things for a while there and other consignments. I do well at other consignments, but not at threads they take 20 items and I make a few bucks like they sold one item so instead of having them donate, I said I would do a pick up this time I made a video Again they went through and took 20 items and when I went to pick up the money three months later, they said I sold nothing so I wanted my things back then they said they only put one on the floor and I’d have to find it and I looked through the whole store for a long time couldn’t find it And I showed the picture of my stuff that they took because I Took photos and made a video And I said you took all these items and then she went back to the computer and she said OK, We kept six items and put them on the floor !?but none of them sold so one second it was one item now it’s six but none of them are on the floor they said things get moved around not putting in the right place so I checked the entire store made a video you can see my stuff is not there anywhere so I will no longer be taking stuff to them and afterwards when I mentioned it to some people, they said they had the same issues with threads so I thought I should mention it for others to beware I take the same amount and I make $30 in a month at another consignment store, so it makes no sense or they’re seriously have a theft issue I seriously believe in supporting local and I will continue to go to local shops and consignment just not threads"

"I like shopping here, but not giving my clothing. They claim they only accept items within a 2 year range or “in style” but I consistently find items that have stains, pilling, or generally not fashionable (pictured). I often find myself giving my clothes to consign but they don’t accept items that I’ve purchased from them previously, which they always say we don’t accept returns but you’re welcome to bring them back to consign again. Threads used to be a really nice environment with decent clothing for a great price, but in recent years not so much."

"I love this place! Every time I visit from Arizona I have to swing in and I always find something. My niece got an adorable VS backpack and I found a BRAND NEW sports bra - all for under $15. You can’t beat that! Staff is always incredible and management is on top of their game! I consigned with them before I moved and always appreciated their honesty about what would and wouldn’t sell."
