"We had the fish fry on Friday and it was served family style. There was plenty of food for all 3 of us on our first serving so we didn’t ask for more fish which is included. The fish is cod and the batter is very light and poofy which is just how we like it. We also had the potato pancakes which were also very good. We were served quickly even though it was pretty busy."
"Potato pancakes are decent, but the tiny amount of fish you get isn’t. Next time you get fish from there, take the breading off and see how much fish there actually is. This pic was a DOUBLE order and 4-5oz of actual fish at best. Sorry, not paying for grease and batter."
"Visited on a friday night for a wisconsin tradition, old fashions and fish fry. Our party of 5 had fried chicken, shrimp dinners, baked fish and a traditional fired cod dinner. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I wish i would have gotten the name of our server. She was great. Had a very good personality and was funny. She guaranteed my old fashioned would be one of the best i had. She was busy with a full dining room but made sure our party was happy and had everything that we needed. Service like thay keeps people coming back. I have not been to Rons in about 35 years due to having moved out of the area. I will make sure i come back next time we are through this way mainly due to the service we received."
"Rons has one of the best fish frys in the area. Not to mention, they offer it daily. We used to live in Oconomowoc and frequented it for lunch and dinner. We just visited this week from out of town and had to get our favorite fish fry since a good fish fry is nonexistent in Arizona. Nothing has changed! They still have amazing fish, and one thing I absolutely love and you can rarely get anywhere else is their warm German potato salad as a side! The service is great and friendly, and the atmosphere is totally Wisconsin diner. We can't wait until next time!"
