"Wonderful supper club with lots of old family values! I used to go here as a child with my grandparents & recently took my own family. Everything was exactly like I remembered it! Loved our dinner, appetizers & drinks. Was pleasantly surprised to see pickled gizzards on the menu and they were delicious! They made a mean brandy old fashioned too! Definitely will return!"
"Best fish fry in south central Wisconsin! The haddock is lightly battered with delicious flavor. Served with their tasty fritters, cole slaw and choice of potato. Excellent service!! Get there early if you want to eat early... Otherwise enjoy a cocktail at this wonderful super club!"
"Unpretentious classic Wisconsin Super Club serving traditional German fare. Visited on a Saturday evening around 6:30. The parking lot and restaurant were full, and we had a about a 1 hour wait for a table. Waiting at the Dorf Haus is fantastic as you can belly up to thr bar and enjoy a cocktail (nothing beats a Brandy Old Fashioned) or enjoy 1 of several in tap German Beers. Saturday night special is Prime Rib, although I had the German Sausage Platter. The platter was phenomenal with a crisp Knackwurst and wonderfully "hammy" pork hock. A definite visit if you are in northern Dane County."

"Classic experience at a classic old-world venue. Arrived at 4:30 for Friday fish fry and assumed we'd waltz right to a table. Nope. This place is so popular that we had an hour wait! No matter, we found a place at the bar and enjoyed german bier vom fass and great conversations with new friends. Waitress and food were excellent. A top fish fry experience in Wisconsin!"
