"Came in 2/24 around 9:30 pm for the first time for a few items. Absolutely no customer service. Max P. Checked me out didn’t say a word to me, not hello did you find everything okay, or just a plain hello nor smile. He just finished talking to the customer before me but chose not to greet me at all. Felt very unwelcoming, didn’t ask me if I needed a bag. Definitely won’t be back to this store."

"My go-to grocery store in my neighborhood. Always clean and usually very well stocked. Parking lot has changed a bit but it's all good."

"I came this morning and was standing in line behind 2 Caucasian males. There was a middle aged Caucasian women at the register. I watched as she offered bags to these gentlemen and was pretty welcoming and sweet. Her interactions with them to me appeared to me to be good customer service. When it came my turn her demeanor changed, no offering of a bag was given for my groceries. A quick hello without the same energy she brought to the previous gentleman. Truly, I wasn’t going to say anything but my heart encouraged me to do so. Many people who look like me shop here. I wonder if she’s made them feel like she made me. Unseen and not worth common decency that she extended to the prior gentlemen. I asked her why she didn’t offer me a bag to which she responded well you only have one item. I told her that being of African American decent that her mannerisms could be taken offensively. She told me that it shouldn’t be taken offensively. I told her, from a customers stand point, witnessing the difference of behaviors, that whether she thought it should or shouldn’t be is irrelevant, that that’s what it is. Not based on her interpretation only but if that of people who are different from her as well. I really only gave this time to speak to her awareness. I really hope that she and anyone like her understands that we should be kind to everyone, offer the same respect to everyone. There shouldn’t be a difference, even over something as small as offering a grocery bag."

"Felt like walking into a grocery store in the 90s. Very dated. Needs a lot of modern upgrades. My checkout guy ripped the bag that was holding the meat and then didn't even bother putting it back on. Couldn't even be bothered to say sorry or anything. Don't think I'll be coming back here. But hey at least they had the eggnog I always wanted to try."
