"I come here often, this is where I have my prescriptions filled, and I will say they are always very friendly even though they are very busy. My prescriptions are always on time, and now they can text me to let me know when they are ready. Definitely a great feature"

"Longest line ever. Incompetent pharmacy tech. After my encounter with Crystal tonight I will never use another Walgreens for ANY business. This employee was not only Unhelpful, unprofessional, but rude. My five month old was prescribed a breathing treatment this afternoon. The prescription was called in at roughly 1 pm today. My sitter tried to pick up the prescription and was told she needed a pharmacy card. After waiting in line 20 minutes then being greeted by another associate, I was told they were finishing it up. Another 15 goes by I walk up to the front and was informed by associate Crystal, “ I told whoever tried to pick this up earlier that you needed the (new) pharmacy card.” As a insurance verification specialist not only was this employee rude, but assumed that during my workday with patients that I had not only the time to figure out this card was old (I’ve never been sent a new one considering this one was issued not even 2 months ago). BUT she assumed that in my hour long commute home from downtown that I had the opportunity to call bcbs 1800 number. As a dental professional not only when I’m helping patients do I help them research, locate, and file their insurance but I great them with a smiling face and a helpful hand. This associate was unprofessional and at 5:57 pm after waiting 30 minutes SHE got an attitude when I told her I had kids to pick up and if this card was not the valid card that bcbs is closed now. I asked the associate if insurance was the hold up why did she not mention it prior to me directly she kept the defense of “I told whoever tried to pick it up earlier”. 1.) I am the only person who has a pharmacy card... I provided what insurance has sent me... 2.) IF she could not locate it why didn’t she tell me OUR first encounter? 3.) proceeding to gossip with the patients behind me about our disagreement was unprofessional. Hipaa violation much? They certify these hourly employees who are clueless on basic customer service and communication skills. The fact the associate said to the people behind me “I guess January is just hard for some folks”.... this comment not only labeled me to my peers but embarrassed me. As a single mom of 3, a full time employee, and student I’m disgusted by this woman. Walgreens- is this the help you hire? I’ve gotten better customer service from Chick-fil-A teenagers. So tonight, I will just pray that my 5 month old can go all night without a breathing treatment all because your employee was more concerned with embarsssing me and arguing to provide me with vital information to get this medical condition resolved. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow as the store manager advised he was “sorry”."
