"I cannot recommend sports clips of Poway enough. My son is five and very afraid of the hair clippers (the electric ones). We have been to the Poway location three times. The first time my son was afraid out of his mind. The stylist, I believe her name was Linda, was so great with him. She talked to him so amazingly and was able to work with him and calm him down enough to get his hair cut. She used only the scissors with him and let him "participate" in his haircut by allowing him to use the spray bottle to wet his hair. She was amazing! A few months later it was my sons birthday and all he wanted was to got there and get his haircut! I owe it to Sports Clips of Poway. The two times after that have been amazing as well and the stylists have really been able to work with my son and ease his mind. At his request he has had haircuts done with scissors only, and they turned out great each time. These stylists have honestly been able to work with him better than others at salons targeted for children. We will be going here anytime he needs his hair cut. 10/10 would recommend."

"Let’s start off by saying I have been struggling to find the right barber, I was greeted by Julia and had a great experience, I was treated very well with a scalp massage and got a great haircut by her. Great personality and I felt very comfortable with telling her my likes and dislikes and she got my hair spot on. I can truly say that I have found the right barber for me and that will get me looking great. I highly recommend that if you’re looking for a good barber shop and barber Julia is the one for you. "Walked right in and was greeted by staff with smiles. Both courteous and helpful, signed in and was having my haircut within minutes of arriving. Sarah did my cut/shampoo and was amazing! Kind and knowledgeable, she provided a great haircut and helpful recommendations for any questions I had. I did the Ultimate MVP experience. Between the decor and amazing service, I'll definitely be a return customer."

"I've been going to Sport clips Poway for some time now. I've had good haircuts, but nothing like Gina. Gina is a true professional, fun and conversational. The most important thing is that my haircuts are the absolute best. I have difficult curly hair and she nailed it. I get the MVP cut with head and shoulder massage. Sportclips is conveniently located near Stater Brothers and has plenty of parking. Get your hair cut, do your shopping, get a Starbucks and go see a movie. 5 Stars. I'll be back."
