It would've been 4 or 5 stars if she didn't pull my hair the whole time and bonk me in the head with the brush while drying my hair."

"This is my second time visiting great clips. 1st experience my 11yr old daughter asked for layers and ended up with crooked choppy hair. When we confronted the stylist she blamed my 11yr old for moving a lot during the haircut. I couldnt believe it. She blamed a child for her horrible haircut. The 2nd experience my 5yr old daughter went to use the restroom and accidentally put too much toilet paper in the toilet. The employee made a huge seen in front of everyone in the room yelling at me and saying that I should fix the clogged toilet. How rude! To even speak to your customers that way. She's 5yrs old and scolding me in front of everyone. Then she called her manager to look at the toilet in front of all the customers. Could that not be done in private? The fact that they go out of their way to make people feel bad is just digusting service! How embarrassing for a customer. The manager didn't make things better but made a comment that I should have a conversation about my daughter's behavior. The worst service I have ever experienced here. Never coming back! Horrible manager and employees!"

"My daughter needed to get a haircut the only problem was trying to find a stylist she could trust that could actually cut her hair the way she wanted. Since here hair is very curly and thick it is hard to find someone that can cut it the way she likes. She also has her own hair routine and does not like people pushing a lot of products on her. We decided to head to the Great Clips in Poway and give them a try. Reviews were good and people seemed happy. Glad we did! The stylist asked my daughter what she wanted and took the time to actually listen to her. She cut her hair exactly how she wanted it, even writing specific notes in the system for next time. The stylist also asked what my daughter used in her hair and just talked to her without trying to upsell a bunch of products. The stylists were great, super nice and welcoming everyone that came in. We'll be back!"
