The Cutt'n Edge

"I came here for a haircut. A basic haircut. Nothing special. I believe the person that cut my hair was still learning. The sides / fade were done very well, but it soon became apparent my barber was not experienced with my style of hair particularly at the top. When the haircut finished he reassured me the top was the right length but I still had the feeling it was too long. Shortly after I left I came back because I was more confident that the top was too long. I waited for him to finish his haircut with another client. In the meantime the "head barber" introduced himself, but when I asked if he could help me with my haircut he said he was by "appointment only" and was confrontational saying "he was helping by letting my barber help me" (???). There was one gentleman that came up to me that I felt was professional saying that my barber was going to be able to handle it. I stayed cautiously optimistic that my barber could fix the situation. Now round two, my barber did the best he could but again even with more cutting it still was not short enough and I ended up having to go to another barbershop around the corner. Even though Cutt'n Edge acted like the reason my haircut was not good was because I was not specific about the type of haircut I wanted, the barber at the other barbershop was literally laughing at the haircut when I walked in. It was obvious to him as well as his customer that my haircut was botched. I wanted to like Cutt'n Edge and I even waited around a good 40 minutes or so to give the barber a second chance at fixing my haircut, but both my barber's unwillingness to refund the tip that I gave him as well as the lack of professionalism from the "Head Barber" force me to write this one star review."
