"I called (day before Xmas Eve) desperately trying to find a certain gift for my niece. Jennifer answered the phone, helped me as much as she could, then transferred me to a gentleman on the floor to make sure they had it. I don't remember his name, but he was great! We were able to reserve, and pick up a present that completed Xmas! It's a shame Wal-Mart couldn't be as helpful!"
"I like Big 5. I always go there. Everyone that works there is super friendly. They are very helpful and eager to help. Last time I was there 5-2-23 I bought 2 tennis racquets, tennis balls and a pair of shoes. I am super excited to get using those. I'll definitely be back in the future. Thanks Big Five!"
"We stopped in on Thursday afternoon to get some butane, big spray, and sunscreen for a weekend camping trip. The store was fairly quiet, but had a few people in it. While we waited to ask a question and check out, one of the employees who seemed to be leaving stopped to open the register for us. Since we had to ask where the sunscreen was, they ended up closing again, but we really appithat they took the time to attend to us. The selection of big spray and sunscreen is surprisingly limited for being a store specializing in outdoor activities."
"Called for sporting clays. Sales Rep said in stock. I asked her to physically check. After 5 or so min on hold, she said yes in stock. Drove 15 min and none were in stock. I spoke with 2 other reps there and both stated out of stock for at least a week. On the plus side, there was ammo in stock..."
"Last minute rush to get hiking boots for a Yamaha event that I waited until the last minute to do! I looked online and Big 5 popped up with some that were inexpensive. Hoping that they actually had them was a hit or miss so I took my chance and took my boys over there. Sure enough not only did they have them but the gentleman that helped us recommended something else that might be sturdier for riding dirt bikes but just as inexpensive. AND I was even able to get my friend's boys shoes too! They had all the sizes I needed! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment. Thank you for saving the day!"
