"Went in just to browse on my lunch break and saw a jacket that was stunning. I work close to this TJ SO I CALLED BEFORE to have the jacket placed on hold. The young lady who answered the phone said let me get you to a floor associate that can assist you on the line thank you. The Associate I was transferred to said that's not her department, I asked to speak with a manager and she disconnected the call. I called back in a attempted to speak to an associate in that area. I was transferred again and the young lady located the jacket. I asked her to hold it for me and I would pick it up on my lunch break. Fast forward, I walked into the store and asked the young lady behind the counter to locate the jacket I placed on hold. A guy employee walks up and asked do you need assistance I said no thank you this young lady is helping me. She asked my name took the coat off the rack and went on to say she couldn't give me the coat because it was 79 dollars. I told her I needed to try it on to see if I was going to purchase it. The employee said she would take it to the dressing room and she would meet me over there. I was a little bit confused because the jackets were on the rack available for all customers. When I got to the register the cashier looked at me like how can I help you so I looked at her like I was waiting for my item to be walked up. She walks away from her register and starts whispering to the young lady who said she couldn't give me the jacket. As a black woman with 20 years in management/retail, it felt for sure I was being profiled. Never had this experience at this location before. I get everything that's going on in the world but please do better customer service should be your top priority. Everyone is not a thief!!!!!"
