"They are RUDE. Told ne I had 30 days to cancel, but kept trying to talk me into keeping it. The 1st person I had was nice but couldn't get a response back from him. The next 2 were just ridiculous."

"They insulted me and refused to cancel my policy upon my request, they told me that if I didn't want to pay $160 a month then I must have problems.... when in reality I don't have a use for this service. Nobody has been able to help with this and they refuse to give me HR number. They also manually forced a payment of $160 out of my account without my permission... trying to cancel and get my money back, anyone have any tips on getting them to bend the knee"

"If a company could receive NEGATIVE Stars, I would scored it that way. Traded in my car in May of 2023, and as of Jan, 2024, over 10 calls to the refund center, NOBODY from the company will answer 2 VERY SIMPLE questions....1. what is the pro-rated refund amount and 2. WHEN will it arrive. I have called the refund office in Newport Beach, CA as well as the corporate office in Irvine. Both places are shielded by an answering service. When I was able to get a return call from an actual employee, their responses were rude and scripted. Absolutely not a customer care in the world. Still waiting to hear back....NEVER NEVER NEVER purchase an extended warranty from this shell-game of a company. I am very fortunate that I never had to use them for an actual claim."

"They sent me a Final Notice to get insurance on a new used car, saying i had to decide on the phone right then. But final recorded message said I had 30 days. So I did my home work, including with certified mechanic and it was clearly an overpriced bad choice. On my first call to cancel, they said there were many Technical Reports w problems--which i could not access. So I took a day to find out. My real complaint was when i called back today, determined to cancel, the staff member (salesman!) kept me on the phone for 45+ minutes, refusing to cancel, repeating the same questions, "Why?' " What i was saying, was..." "Can you explain....?" I was incensed . I just continued saying: "no I don't want a conversation; I won't answer; and are you ready to do your job now..." 2 Steps from a Scam. He (gave his name as Chris Smith) finally gave in and said they would process the refund."

"I would like to give them 0 star or minus if I could. DO NOT SIGN OR AGREE WITH THEM ON ANYTHING! They tell you you have one month to cancel for free and you will get refund. That's not true! They will create all kinds of barrier so that you can't cancel right away. Later on you are finally able to talk to one person after several calls, and they ask you to write a letter, get notarized, mail with tracking number, blah blah, and they still charge you a lot for cancelling. They need to go to prison for stealing money!!!"
