"My family & I are highly disappointed with services provided by Crone Monuments & it's collaboration company/companies. Our initial contact & down payment for my mom's headstone was made in November 2022! I understand that businesses were experiencing backlogs, due to Covid. It is now February 2024 & the headstone is still incomplete! The builders/installers seem to not have been fully communicating with the office personnel & when they did, information reported was inaccurate! I have called numerous times. May of 2023, upon noticing the footing was down, I called to inquire as to the timing of the headstone installation. Office personnel was unaware as there was no communication on file noting that the footing had been laid! Approximately 3-4 months later, the headstone was installed with no vase & the base much too short to add one. I was told it was on backorder. I questioned the installation of the vase because there's approximately 1 inch or less on one side & 3-4 inches on the other, but was told it was fine. I am providing a recent photo taken February 13, 2024. I am sure you would agree the base is not cut correctly to add a vase of any kind & it looks very unattractive. I am quite embarrassed when others are looking at & commenting. Here's additional contact & timeline information: December 21, 2023 - I received a call informing me that the vase was installed December 12th & order completed but upon visiting, it was not. January 8, 2024 - called office & was immediately told again that vase had been installed & it was completed. I asked for photo. One was not available but I was told someone would check & one would be taken. After not hearing back from anyone, I took it upon myself to revisit the gravesite & to my disappointment, nothing had been added. February 9, 2024 - I again called the Dudley office in Memphis TN to inquire & received the same message, completed but due to previous inclement weather & flooding, work was just resuming & no photo was available. February 13, 2024 - after no follow-up, I went to the gravesite again expecting to see everything completed! Now I am in tears because nothing has been done! Today is February 19th. This morning, I made another call to the office & was told someone should have gone to the location this past weekend to check & they would get back with me. No one called before closing. I don't feel as if I should have to make another call concerning this matter & I do not plan to. Upon reading the reviews, I trusted this to be a reputable company. Now I am left to wonder! I have since had relatives to take their business elsewhere & they were provided the service they expected. All complete in a timely manner & beautiful! After seeing my relative's headstone today, I am now extremely disappointed, frustrated, in dismay & realize my mistake by choosing Crone Memorials! As I can no longer deal with this anxiety, I am requesting the removal of the incomplete headstone & a refund of payment submitted. I was told that the home office is in Kentucky. "Kevin was absolutely wonderful. Very patient, kind and artistic in helping design a three person headstone. It was difficult marking my daughter and husband's death and the stone turned out beautiful. I could not have chosen a better place than Crones. Thank you so much for.making this tak completed."

The funeral home had already gouged me for the funeral and I was advised that Crone Memorials would give me a better price for the headstone. I did get a good price and outstanding service. They told me it would be 10 to 12 weeks and it was a bit earlier and a beautiful stone that they produced.
