"I came in here with low expectations because I have had more than a horrible experience on countless occassions at the SLO office. I came in and of course slo dentist didn’t put correct notes, take the correct X-rays etc. I immediately got so anxious and thought wow not again… how ever Dr. Abalos and her assistant mellissa were amazing. Dr. Abalos knew I was frustrated and immediately on her own came up with a resolution and FAST. I will be bringing my children to this clinic for now on!!"

"Very poor dental care and Dentist was very rough. The assistant did not even have her tools set up correctly and was reprimanded by the dentist right in front of me. My crown was not seated correctly. I have a big gap between my crown and my gums. After all that, I did not feel comfortable going back and asking them to have it fixed with them. Now, three years later, I’m having to have another dentist who is gentle and competent put on a new crown so the area is sealed correctly. Stay away from this place."

"I wish I could give this place negative stars. The dentist and staff are completely negligent and I would never recommend this place to another person. I had an appointment for a filling in which I asked the main dentist weeks ahead for them to use laughing gas during the procedure. They agreed, I called to confirmed that the request was in my notes a week or so later, they confirmed, I got a confirmation call the day before and made a follow up call to ask if I needed a driver for me after the laughing gas, they agreed. Presumably all on the same page, until I got to my appointment. I walk in, they confirm I am here for my appointment, nothing, they call me back to the room where I ask if my mom, the driver, can join me, still nothing. I sit in the chair and they put the bib on me and start preparing the tools, nothing. The main dentist comes in and asks which fillings Id prefer her to start with, still nothing. It is only until I have to ask, “Am I still receiving the laughing gas?” that I am finally told “No, it’s not set up yet but we can still proceed as it’s minimally invasive”. They were going to continue with my procedure without ever disclaiming the laughing gas I requested to help ease the pain and anxiety would not be administered. When I said No, that’s not okay, she tried to ask when I made this appointment as if she wasn’t the one I spoke to on the phone that suggested we could use the laughing gas and took no accountability for trying to continue without being explicit about not having access to the laughing gas like I was promised. I would never recommend this place in 100 years, if they can mess up such a simple thing that could be so costly to their patient I would never be able to trust them doing actual work on my body or anyone I know."
