"This was the cleanest nicest La Quinta I stayed at in a long time. I traveled with a dog which was no problem. Very nice breakfast buffet bar. I would highly recommend staying at this La Quinta and I will stay at this one again when I'm traveling through"

"Front desk at check in; we seem to have interrupted the front desk clerks busy day. She couldn't wait to get us checked in so she could get back to what she had been doing. She was disheveled, her blouse was wrinkled and stain. The hotel lobby could use some freshening up, but the room was clean and comfortable except for one sticky spot on the carpet."

"Room was great, comfortable bed, really quiet, got a great night's sleep! Breakfast was ok and options were good; complaints- the bananas looked AWFUL, and the eggs were BLAND AF (most bland eggs I've had at hotels and they're all pretty plain). Decent area with some stuff nearby. Front desk staff were practically nonexistent; had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up for check in, but she was really friendly (!) but didn't see her or anyone else at the desk the whole time. The whole place was FREEZING! The halls, the elevator, the pool area (pool heated a little but you could see steam coming off), room was freezing when I got in and had to crank the heat. Again, got a great night's sleep and enjoyed the quiet! But overall kinda a bizarre place."

"My room was very nice! The shower was great, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The only thing I needed that wasn't in the room was conditioner for my hair but the body wash and shampoo in the shower was very nice. I will definitely stay here again. Also, the front desk clerk was very friendly on 11/13 around 10 pm (can't remember her name)."

"We entered our room late at night and noticed a musty or mildew smell. After coming back to the room the next night, it had morphed into a urine smell in the far side of the room. When brought to the attention of the night clerk, she had to speak with the manager. The outcome was that we should use the supplied Lysol and cover the smell. That was the brilliant idea from her manager. That solution was underwhelming to my wife, so we pushed for a different room and even though there were 13 other available rooms, we had to insist that we be given another room. We were eventually granted that request so we moved to an adjacent room. There was a basic musty smell again but having the bar set extremely low, we accepted it since there wasn’t a urine smell attached. I don’t know if it’s a ventilation problem or carpet cleaning problem or poor housekeeping issue. There’s another smaller issue that I don’t know how to address. Are you allowed to complain about something that’s free OR is the “free” breakfast built into the overall price? I was wondering if the scrambled eggs have any chromosomal similarities to actual chickens. Cereal is probably the best option. We also requested compensation for this room inconvenience but we were not surprisingly denied. We will have to go through Amex to resolve this in a satisfactory manner. I noticed another couple dissatisfied with their experience. He was ahead of me the night we arrived. He had a reservation but they didn’t have a room set aside for him. Like the Seinfeld episode, they took the reservation but had trouble holding the room. He got a room but when we left he was still trying to resolve a price issue with the manager. Going forward, this experience will be our last interaction with La Quinta and from now on when our family sees a billboard or sign with that name we will call it “La Stinka”"
