"Who knew they cared about my fitness so much? We had 2 jobs going with them. My wife ordered trim and it was delivered to the wrong site. Her salesman, Mark, must have known it was baseball season and I needed to get in shape. Thank goodness he didn't follow up with us or respond late Friday to make sure it went to the right place. Because this meant I got to spend 5 hours of my Sunday loading up the trim and taking it to the correct job site. At first I was really upset at Mark, thinking he didn't care if our job was delivered correctly or not. After I realized that he was making sure I got a workout in, I felt a lot better. You know, he must have also known that the guy we had on site Friday to put the trim in, needed a rest and also had made enough money for the week because he just sat there all day. Whatta guy. I'm positive Mark knew his actions would effect so many people's lives!!"

"Safety, and phone calls about immediate safety violations should be addressed immediately and not forwarded to voicemail. This company decided to send a load of lumber out on a 5 Lane Rd. on W. Trinity Ln. Without any traffic flaggers or any other safety vehicles were warning notice for people driving down this 5 Lane Rd. as a gentleman on a forklift is pulling number off of one side and curing it to the job site across the other side. This company is utilizing all five lanes of a major road. That is rated at 40 mph. And I can tell you that most people are going 45 to 50 mph and some even much faster. I drive this route at least three days a week to go to work and I can assure you that a lot of people fly past me and I’m going 45. There was no consideration for the safety of the forklift operator as well as no consideration for the safety of the people that are driving down this road. It would be an issue if there were road signs indicating that there was work ahead, at least a cop car or a car with lights or someone with some signs. But no you’re putting the length of that forklift operator had extremely high risk on a 5 Lane Rd. as well as the risk of drivers who have no idea why everybody in front of them is all of a sudden slamming on their brakes. Putting yell at 100% responsibility of any accident that happens there because you’re not using proper safety protocols for what because you’re too cheap to pay for a flagger company to chip the rent at officer? I have over 20 years and safety experience predominately in aviation however 100% in employee and customer safety. This is unacceptable. And when someone calls to file a major safety complaint they should not be going to voicemail"

"Absolutely the VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE REGION. Christian, she is terrible, she couldn't give me a sale person's contact for a Commercial job, she couldn't quote the price of 12 footers for a full truck, load, she gave me the line that wood fluctuates, when I asked what is the price today for a delivery this week. Completely clueless, SHE NEEDS TRAINING or to be in a different Industry, then building. She also told me nobody could call back they were packing up and it was 3:55 and they close at 4:30. She also had the nerve to say they have their long term customers when I told her we were paying cash. That they couldn't call today. I called earlier today at 11 am and she never called me, I had to call again to get this song and dance. These stakeholders that own this company should be embarrassed.#embarassing #notknowledgeable #dontaskChristiananythingonlynonsense"

"The supervisors at Builders First Source, specifically Mike Morris, have absolutely no respect for any temporary employee. They will fabricate false accusations against their temps to help their friends/hired on employees. There have been multiple instances where this is true, and HR is unwilling to stand up for their temps. This company should hold its authority figures within higher standards rather than terminate better employees than the actual hired on ones. I would highly recommend applying elsewhere before working for this mediocre company who will not value your work ethic."
