"This is easily my favorite park in Smyrna for how long the trails are, making it a great place to get some exercise. I'll often visit for picnics in the wide field areas which receive little foot traffic. The frisbee golf course is challenging with the trees near certain holes and lots of fun. My only quibble is the bird blind trail has fallen into disrepair; it doesn't look like it's been maintained in years. I bring out some seed every now and then at the designated spots, but I wish P&R would pay it a smidge more attention."

"Great place for so many things. It's huge considering the size of the town. There are multiple soccer fields, softball fields, acres of open greenscape, and a huge disc golf course. The walking path can take out to the boat ramps one-way or do a full loop around the park. You can also do both. I get my 12,000 steps in if I do both and it takes around 2 hours. Also, there is a dog park and multiple (5 or 6) well maintained public bathrooms, several with covered picnic tables behind them. Lots of picnic tables and public grills."

"Very beautiful and great walking paths, but all the equipment and dump trucks currently ruin it. The tractors and trucks are using the walking paths as a shortcut to get around the park. Dont walk with headphones! I was startled by a dump truck slowly cruising behind me on the walking path. Not what you expect on a walking trail closed to vehicles"

"This place is beautiful! Our kids have had soccer practices here before in the past. The fields are always huge and kept intact. My favorite area, though, is the little pond and walking trail. It's nicely shaded, with lots of great spots for photos. I would suggest bringing the bug spray if you visit in spring or summer, though!"
