"This review is way overdue! Remember when most of the flights were delayed in December of 2022? Well, I was one of those passengers that couldn't get a flight home. I had to rent a car and drive from Salt Lake City, UT to San Diego, CA. Almost all of the cars were booked by the time we arrived at the rental car office. The customer service staff were outstanding and extremely helpful. They got my family and me into a car right away and away we went. We drove through crazy storms and terrifying winds at times but luckily we made it back safe. We arrived home earlier than expected so Alamo didn't charge us for one of the days we had reserved. I just can't say enough about how wonderful the customer service was. Arturo and Jonathan at the San Diego location were phenomenal and made the return process a breeze. It was very appreciated after the long drive with two teenage boys in the car! Thanks Alamo!"

"Great customer service from the shuttle drivers, reps from check in and returning. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Shuttles were present for arrival and departure, i never had to wait! The whole process was easy and very convenient. What stood out from my whole experience. When I waited in line to check in, another rental company assisted me even though I was renting from Alamo!"

"With a flight cancelled and having to get to where I was going as fast as possible I turned to Alamo rent-a-car at the San Diego airport. The lines were long with everybody trying to get a car and only three service Representatives at the counter, I thought it was going to take forever to get my car. However they were working hard and within a half an hour I had my car And was on my way. A great experience on a stressful day."

"There is construction going on at the airport so the rental car shuttle is a short walk across the street. Once at the Rental car center they have separate doors for each agency. Alamo National and Enterprise are all located within one door. 7/25 about 9am they weren’t very busy so I waited about 3 minutes for the employee to finish with the person in front of me. It was extremely quick check in and they tell you to go up the escalators to the second floor garage and see the attendant there. She looked at our reservations and walked us to where the pickups were. 3-4 Red Ram 1500 classics (not the new body style). Two 2023 F-150s, a sliver and grey one. One was an SXT but it had expired tags and was puffing white smoke. The silver one, which we took, was an XLT with NM plates. Had under 14000 miles on it. Overall it was efficient and if I had to rent from again I would. Truck was a one-way drop off so i don’t know how returns go at this location."
