"I️ highly recommend European Auto Repair. Max the owner is highly trained and provides outstanding customer service!. Upon dropping off my Mercedes this morning to be serviced , I️ was given a ride to Fruitvale BART and was picked up when my car was finished. Wonderful communication was given throughout the day about all that needed to be done to my car. Max is honest and fair. I️ am definitely pleased with the wonderful care given to my car. You will not be disappointed!"

"These guys know their way around German cars! Kinda pricey, but German cars are not cheap to maintain."

"Went to these guys in 2020 and paid around $4K. Same exact issue cropped up a couple years later and now they want me to pay thousands again. Totally wouldn’t be surprised if they put in bad or old parts so you would need to fix it again later on. The staff were also incredibly rude. Never again. Also overcharges for labor."

"At first they seem helpful and get you in the door. They're "high estimate" was still low by more than 600 and they ended up charging me more. They jumped the gun and said it was done but had installed the wrong parts and gave me back my car after clearing the check engine light and hoping it wouldn't come back. I asked them to check the condition of the valves and they said they looked great. See photo. They also cause a transmission leak which is not even related to the work I went in for. Owner Al says he's trained by Mercedes in Germany and then passes the car off to one of his much less experienced mechanics to do the whole job. Quite deceptive. Car was in their possession 5 months as I patiently waited and waited. There would be weeks with no update, just sitting there. No call back, nothing. Charged me $800+ more to attempt to fix the problem they created and to this day deny any fault. Still a check engine light 1 year later and countless hours troubleshooting only to find that the problem was the communication amongst themselves and the owner's curt and prideful attitude. Terrible business etiquette. I spent $6000 here and was treated like a child. Can't trust them as far as you can throw them. Not even for an oil change."

"This experience was laughable to say the least. The owner doesn't time to explain anything other than brief moments to summarize what parts they can throw at it next. I was told I have to "be a big boy and pay" for parts that were not failing and did not need to be replaced. After paying over $900 for that it fixed nothing. Also left the old o-rings inside the fuel rail which clogged the fuel injectors. These guys are complete clowns. A real mechanic found wrong parts installed and shop owner still denies any responsibility for all the extra diagnostics and parts they charged me."
