"Veggie Delight is a great place to get vegan lunches to go. I also do shopping there to have vegan ingredients at home like the frozen fish cutlets. Some items may not be strictly vegan but vegetarian so be sure to check the ingredients. The staff can help.. I have to admit that I primarily go there for the Zongzi which if you don't know is kind of like a Chinese rice tamale. With a little soy sauce (Braggs Amino) and siracha, you can't go wrong. I also occasionally get the steamed buns. They have several varieties but the veggie pork is the best."

"We’ve been buying Delicious Vegan Chinese food for several years... WONDERFUL! As a vegetarian for over 28 years, let me tell you, this little place is a true GEM! This is not a sit down restaurant No chairs, No tables... Just refrigerated cases with lots of clear plastic containers. We have never been disappointed and suggest you select several and go home or work and ENJOY! Some dishes we love over & over: Chinese roast “Pork”, mustard greens & tofu, Chinese “Fish” (2 varieties) , radical radish (Spicy), also two versions of “chicken” and many more! Don’t let the tiny building turn you off. Go in and ask Gilbert any questions you have. Tell him Rosie & Jay sent you.... Have Fun!"

"Love this place! I eat here at least twice a week. They have a lunch special that's a little under $8 and they also have these bomb peanut sandwiches (not sure what else is in it) on the counter that go for $2. I'm not a vegan but I really enjoy their food. Super nice people. Heads up - they take cash only, food is to go and they are closed on Mondays.."

"Awesome food cant get their hours right to save their lives. This is the 3rd or 4th time they have been closed during posted hours. Last time I was here I asked them 3 times if the hours were right. They said yes but yet I sit here during open hours and they are closed."

"Skyrocket's in flight, Vegetarian Delight Very easy to pass by, Veggie Delight Co. (VDC) is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Look up hole in the wall in an online search (because really, who flips through a dictionary these days?), and you just may see a pic of VDC. Parking in the lot, my eyes spied a taqueria, a Chinese flooring company etc. but, where's Veggie Delight Co.? I know it's somewhere around here. Perhaps it's located inside the flooring company? "Yeah, I'd like 30 sq. ft. of laminate to go with my order of faux chicken, please." Fortunately, on the westside of the parking lot, I glanced a building with Chinese writing on the facade. Walking up to the entrance facing 166th St., I knew I had reached my destination. I predetermined I wanted VDC's $6 lunchbox, either fish or chicken. Fish piqued my interest & I ordered that. While waiting, I browsed the prepackaged items for sale- Fried "anchovies" Assorted buns/sandwiches Quickly, my fish lunchbox was ready to go. Fish lunchbox I don't know what all comprised my fish lunchbox, but I found it to be hearty & good. The fish did have the essence of fish flavor. What kind of fish, you may ask? I dunno. If I wrap my brain around it, I'd say lake trout. When I went to Lake Tahoe, I chartered a fishing trip on the lake and kept the state limit of two lake trout. I had those sent to a nearby restaurant, where they cooked it up for our dinner. So I'd say, yeah, like lake trout, except the consistency was more al dente. Coulda been a larger portion, but what was there was exceptional. The brown/purple rice was filling and everything else complimented the lunchbox. Next time, I would add some chili and/or hot sauce to spice things up. Service was good. Minimal wait, I'm talking a couple minutes. VDC is a strictly to go place, as there are no places to eat. Closed on Sunday & Monday, make sure to bring cash, as VDC is cash only. I don't mind going vegetarain for a day or two, as long as I have great vegetarian eateries, such as Veggie Delight Co., to frequent. Their lunchboxes are cheap, fast, filling &, dare I say, good! I'd love to come back to try their other items. Maybe the chicken lunchbox or the fried anchovies. Definitely come down & try Veggie Delight Co. yourself. Just keep your eyes peeled when getting close. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM"
