"A friend from Bakersfield recently took over the restaurant as a co-owner and is changing the name to the Curry Lounge. I drove down from Bakersfield for my first visit along with wife and two young adult sons, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I may be no connoisseur of Indian food, but I can honestly say that it was the best Indian meal I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten at several Indian restaurants over the years. Everything we had was addictingly tasty! We also celebrated my younger son’s 20th birthday with a cake that we bought at a nearby bakery. After singing happy birthday, some guys at another table joined in celebration by chanting “Drink a beer, drink a beer … one more year!”"

"We had a great visit to this restaurant today. Food was awesome and the owner was really humble. We liked each of the veg and non veg items we ordered. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavors made our dining experience truly enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future."

"We wanted to try a different restaurant in Little India than our regular goto place. Quiet place, food was good. Chole Bhature and Mango Lassi were the best that we have had in a while. Samosa and Papdi Chaat are good too. Price point was very reasonable. The owner/cashier is a gentleman. Hope you all will like it too."

"The chole bature, fried fluffy bread was disappointing because the bread was flat. We also had a kulcha and the flavour was okay too. Both came with the same style chickpeas, although we were expecting black chickpeas with the kulcha. We had a snack style appetiser, I can’t remember which one. The flavour for that one was actually what we expected. Sweet, savoury, and tangy. Loved it! A lot of people mention the food is not too salty and it’s true! I think that’s the best part of their food. Their chai is so not good. I tried to order coffee and they didn’t have any so I was stuck with their bland chai. My husband is Punjabi and he said the food is more of a homemade type of food. I give the food 4 stars and the restaurant set up 3, because it’s pretty unwelcoming. I think they need to add more chairs and decor. The service was okay. But he food is what really matters."
