"Just got a great pair of shoes. Teller was pleasant but said they had no bags they were out of bags and needed to order. I went into a nearby store and bought a few things. Left and went back by the famous footwear and noticed the same female teller getting a fresh new bag for the person at the till? Sad that tedious things make some people feel better? Why would a store that big not have bags? So random as I also mentioned to her."

"My husband and I are pretty independent when finding items we need, which is excellent because the staff were more interested in their phones than helping patrons. The cashier, I wish I could remember her name, seemed to be the only one working of the three staff members observed. We did purchase two pairs of shoes totalling over $130. I did, however, think twice while waiting in line for 20 minutes, with one of the staff on an iPad five feet away from the cashier. If the staff are going to ignore patrons, or over worked team members, they should at least do it out of sight."

"So glad to see this famous footwear still open in the Capitola Mall. They have a great selection of men’s, women’s, and kids shoes and boots. They even carry some of the higher end athletic shoes as well. The prices are lower than you would find in brand-name stores. And I like that you can find your size and try on without bothering the associates in the store. Definitely recommend for anyone with a shoe appreciation"

"great selection of shoe and slipper styles, but VERY LIMITED on mens size 14 on up. But I found 1 perfect pair of mens 14 wide sketchers shoes that are perfect (of the 4 styles available)."
