"I really hate to give this store a 1 star because I truly enjoy Nob Hill, but on January 11th 2024 @ around 1:30pm came into the store to purchase food from the food court and after I got my food I went over to the cash register to pay for my food, my food was only $6.27 I gave the cashier $7.00 in cash a $5 bill and two one $1.00 bills well instead of the cashier giving me back 73 cents he handed me 16 cents and I was on my phone but I did noticed it didn’t feel like he handed me quarters but I continued on and left the store I noticed what he handed me after I left and he did not offer me a receipt but I’ll post the picture of the price of what I purchased out of Nob Hill. Next time I’ll check myself out because there’s no way he did not know what he was doing and people like that should not be handling money at all especially for an established business. I am going to let this go because at this point I can not do anything about it because I’ve already left the store but now that I know that this store has cashiers that doesn’t give loyalty customers back their correct change I’ll now be counting before I leave the counter or just use self check out from here on out. P.s Nob Hill please correct me if I’am wrong far as if the cashier charge a different price once the customer pay at the cashier thanks."
"I visited Nob Hill Foods in Alameda the day before Thanksgiving around 1 PM, and to my surprise, it wasn't crowded. My primary goal was a fruit tart, but I left with $75 worth of other items – a testament to the store's diverse offerings. Nob Hill Foods lived up to expectations; it's well-stocked with everything you need. A convenient pre-holiday shopping experience."
"Poor inventory management. If you’re always out of one type of coffee, and fully stocked on others, adjust the order quantity and stock more of the popular ones. It’s not rocket science. They’re constantly out of stock on all kinds of common items."
"A looks new, feels new Nob Hill. The produce is well arranged, and fresh. There seem to be plenty of fresh fruits. The Asian food selection is pretty good and includes sauces and spices that you might only find in an Asian store. The staff is friendly, ready to lend a helping hand. There's also an ATM right inside."
