"Had a pretty bad experience today with a shorter hispanic cashier apparently she didn’t know how to do her job. The app for the deals wasn’t working and she proceeded to tell me we were on our own and that she couldn’t honor the deals because she claims to have told us to do it before coming to the store? (I’ve never been to this store nor will I be returning) So I told her to put everything back because I no longer wanted it. She then decided to offers to help us get the deals because she knew she was going to have to put everything back. She then decided it would be a good idea to have a shouting match with me across the store. This all could’ve been avoided if she just did her job and wasn’t being lazy. She could’ve called a manager over or asked someone else about the app being down or found out if it was having other difficulties but instead made it seem like it was our fault. I felt bad for the bagger because even he looked at his co-worker like she was doing something out of pocket. The manager was just watching instead of intervening or de-escalating the situation. Crazy because I was buying $300+ worth of groceries."

"Visited your store today and one of your customer was shopping with their dog. Doggy was sniffing items on bottom shelves. Not good. There is an illness known as Atypical Canine Infection Respiratory Disease that dogs have and they are not responding to treatment. Not a good ideal for them to be in the food store sniffing over the food your customer went to buy. Check your cameras. It was Thursday, 11/7/23 near 6:30pm. "Every week, I spend $150 on groceries. I wanted to try Vons because stater bros are getting pricey and have a lot of nasty employees at the McCall road location. Today, I said, "Okay, let's try VONS," and I purchased around 24 to 26 products, and they had three cashier lanes open, so I went to the express lane because my cart was much smaller in quantity than other consumers'. Well, I was waiting at the cashier, there was one elderly lady behind me with a really nasty attitude, and she was putting her cart very close to me, which I ignored because she seemed in agony. When I arrived at the cashier, "A" was assisting us, and she asked me, "Can you please count how many serrano peppers there are?" I told her, you can count, I don't mind you touching my peppers, (because needless to say, now we have to count each pepper, so 8 peppers for $1 and I probably had 24 peppers in there anyway), the lady behind me was so upset that I didn't count the peppers and being very impatient so anyway, i told the cashier Abby to count and comment to her that i have a lot of patience (Meaning in a way, take your time) so the lady behind me said, we also have a lot patience. I told her i am not speaking to you Anyway, I'm not sure why Abby got furious with me and told me straight out, next time when you come, go to other lane since this is for express lane, when I only had 26 items and the express lane doesn't mention anywhere how many items I should have to go in the lane. Cashier abby was quite disrespectful, and I will never return to this Vons again. Comment to VONS manager: Abby needs to learn not to humiliate customers in front of other customers and to avoid making fun of younger customers in front of elderly people in order to gain brownie points because this location is in a senior community."
