"Customers/employees beware: this store does not care about returning a call for POSITIVE feedback. I had an AWESOME experience with a rep in this store. His manager was not available in person at the time so was told to call in to leave feedback. I have left messages for the 'Executive Office' for the Grossmont La Mesa store 2x in a week stating I want to pass along positive feedback. They have not called back at all, what an abysmal way to treat your employees as a higher up. As a manager myself, I can't even imagine ignoring a phone call to provide positive feedback for my employees and really feel bad for the staff at this location."

"The sales associates are awesome when your buying something. However it seems they might have personal feelings towards someone who might need to return their purchases. I understand that the job is requiring that they impose the policies. It’s just a little strange why they can’t get over the whole attitude problem just because they have to say no. I know what it’s like when I have to say no to someone. Besides that I have a great time when I go to Macy’s. They always have some amazing sale going on."
"In my opinion, the La Mesa Macy's is better than the Fashion Valley Macy’s because the one in Fashion Valley looked like it was short-staffed. After all, the jewelry section had no staff in it. Also, the one in Fashion Valley did not have as much variety and quality as the one in La Mesa. What was good about my experience in the La Mesa Macy’s was that the staff was polite and helped me with what I needed. Also, everything in the La Mesa Macy’s looked like if took time, and I appreciate that."
