NorCal Elk Grove Sewing & Vacuum

"Called ask if they repair sewing machines and they said they did. I went here because the other place was to fare. Boy am i kicking my self on that. The guy ch3ck out my machine told me he didnt think my sewing machine wouldnt last after repair. And if it needed parts they only deal with one place and they would not look on the inner net to find parts if needed. I told them i can look on line for parts. And did find them when i looked. So he went on about how he thought machine was not worth repairing and so he mentally convenced me my sewing machine was junk and all it needed was to be un gumed up and a light replaced. He said he juck it for me. And there also was a 6 to 8 week back ip on repairs. . So i gave him the machine. Keep thinking made a bad mistake. So i looked harder after i left machine with him and found a repair shop that was willing to un gume it up. So i called the place that had my machine and they said they already parted it out. Seam they were not that backed up after all. So my heart is broked. It gone. Dont bring your older machines to this guy he didnt even know what the attachments were that went on the front of the machine was. Dont get your heart broke like i did. He mentally convinced me it was junk and it would take weeks to repair. And it only took less than a day to take it apart and junk it. Save what they needed. Dont go there."

"THIS IS THE PLACE!!! FAMILY OWNED. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! HONESTY, RESPECT AND INTEGRITY!! I took my Singer Quantum 9960 in to get it fixed. The foot pedal had quit working (I bought a new one but it did not work). Richard suggested a couple of things that might be the problem. I agreed to leave the machine to be diagnosed so Richard got it from my car. When we got inside, he set it on the counter and on a hunch he decided to try a used foot pedal (he did not have a new pedal) and to my surprise and GREAT DELIGHT it worked!! He tried mine again but it did not work so he again tried the one he had and it worked!! Needless to say I was so HAPPY!! I bought the used foot pedal at a great price. Richard ordered new original Singer pedals so if and when I need one he will have them. I had taken my Singer to 2 other well known sewing and vacuum shops and was told that the problem was the circuit board at both places. One owner told me my machine was not worth repairing as Singer machines were not made like they used to be (what is?). My machine is working great and I am thrilled! THAT IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH RICHARD!! YOU ARE THE MAN!!"

"Found this gem yesterday. I am teaching myself to quilt and most stores I have been to are out of fabric. We went in and they have a great array of high quality beautiful fabrics. Richard, who owns the business with his wife, was sooo helpful and fun to chat with. Once the shelter in place ends, I can’t wait to go to a few quilting and embroidery classes there.
