"Stopped at Rodrigo’s on our way home from Glen Helen raceway. We were starving and wanted a sit down Mexican restaurant with chips & salsa. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon. We sat in the bar so we could watch college football. Chips & salsa were good. Ask for the spicy one. It’s much better. Ordered a shredded beef taco plate, flauta plate and cheese enchilada. Really disappointed that it was 1 flauta cut in half. For the price you’d think you’d get at least 2 FULL flautas cut in half but whatever. Tacos and enchiladas were good. We’d go back but if you’re starving, I don’t recommend the flautas unless you’re going to fill up on chips & salsa"

"My visit to Rodrigo's recently was wonderful. I was part of a group of 12 for a book club meet up. As you probably know, large number parties can sometimes pose problems/confusion with service and payment. Well let me tell you, not a single hitch. The service was excellent. No extra fees or automatic gratuity for a large group. Bonus, without hesitation our server broke down all the checks since we weren't paying as a group. The atmosphere was perfect for our large, and sometimes loud, group. We dined on the patio, where we enjoyed our food, the music, and great weather. Later in the evening a mariachi walked through the patio taking requests. They were wonderful. Rodrigo's chips and salsa are always on point. I ordered the chicken fajita taco salad. The portion size was perfect, the chicken was delicious. I drank water since I was driving, however, those that imbibed raved about the margaritas. Rodrigo's is definitely an establishment to come back to. Perfect setting for many occasions."
