"Found and saw this place on instagram, decided to take my husband for his birthday. We had to ask to have our order taken … that’s how long we waited… we place our order an appetizer our drinks and food .. everything arrived all at the same time …our appetizer never arrived our food drinks and tab… like what the hell we felt ignored at 1st and then rushed out…. I really regret. Don’t get me wrong the decor and food was great. Just felt rush … no one else got there tab while barely starting to eat… we felt uncomfortable period. By the way we travelled 45 minutes to try a this new place …."

"So here's the deal I love writing reviews but I hate writing bad ones for people who I know are doing the best they can it's hard to run a restaurant I know that let me rephrase that it's hard to run a successful restaurant Mexico 1900 has a great staff has a great dining area everything seems to be great except the food and by this I really mean no offense it's whitewashed it's not you know I'm Mexican and I grew up with you know refried beans and rice and taquitos and stuff like that and none of that is here it's right next door to Taco Bell I'm afraid that unfortunately Taco Bell has rubbed off on them the food's not bad but it's not Mexican and again no offense here but the prices they're pretty white too as in Mexicans usually can't afford this"

"I was looking forward to going to this place for a while.. When I arrived the parking sucked!!!! and so did the rest of my experience. The place Is outdated and dingy. Their service is terrible; The white old lady( Hostess) at the front counter needs improvement on customer service or need to retire. The tall older Hispanic/ waitress looks overwhelmed and frustrated...He snaps when you ask him a question or make a special request. No one comes around to see if you need anything ( refill, water, hot sauce, napkins, etc) The food tastes like canned food topped with orange cheese. And to make matters worse they don't offer Mexican drinks like Horchata or Jamaica. What kind of a so-called Mexican is that. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone !!!!"

"I ordered the Carne Asada plate. Came with refried beans, and fries. No rice. Maybe I should have requested rice. Also came with Two tortillas. Flour was my choice. Came with soup or salad. I chose Albondigas. Was decent. The carne asada meat was thin, and very dry. Over cooked. Not marinated or seasoned at all. I had to add some salt. It was Terrible. IMHO I think they need to hire a New or Better Cook."

"I have been coming to this restaurant since 1975. Great food and service. We don't live in the area anymore so we can't dine here as much as we used to so we do miss it."
