He took the time on the phone to walk me through clearing the air gap without even considering a house call to do the repair himself. I’m happy to recommend Alex for any repairs that are needed. "I'm updating my previously negative (1-star) review after being contacted by the owner. It turns out that the technician who came to my home was not the business owner, but a different "Alex" who was an employee that I'm told has now been terminated due to multiple customer complaints. After reading my review, owner Alex contacted me to apologize and offer to reimburse me for my wasted deductible. He promptly mailed me a check. I'm very grateful and impressed with this! Nowadays, it's not uncommon to find businesses that simply don't care about dissatisfied customers. Instead, Alex Appliances reached out to make it right, personally standing behind the work. I would try this business in the future--now that the offending employee is gone! And I appreciate Alex for his integrity and commitment to making things better. -------------------- Original review: Avoid Alex at all costs! He was dispatched by my home warranty company, and as as soon as he arrived he had a bad attitude and seemed reluctant to wear a mask. I explained what was going wrong with my microwave and that even though it was heating properly, it would frequently power on and off right after I closed the door. I'd had another repair person who was here for something else take a look as a courtesy, and he determined immediately what was wrong and said it was an easy fix. I explained all this to Alex, but he was argumentative and incredible rude. He filed a report with the home warranty saying there was NOTHING wrong, and now I'm out the deductible."

"Courteous, clean and prompt. Fixed our Samsung dryer for less than Samsung wanted. Same day service. Had the parts in his van for a quick fix. I would highly recommend."
