"Was a bit like stepping into someone's dinning room for dinner. It was a small restaurant with a boutique hotel attached. We had the three course meal with wine tastings and it was divine. I had cauliflower, scallops and chocolate mouse. My husband had cauliflower, ribs and chocolate mouss. The staff were really friendly and helpful offering advice on wines, what to do and just lovely. We booked for 8pm by which time it was only us there. If you go try the cauliflower starter.... It was amazing!"

"We had a very nice quiet dinner here. We were looking for a dinner dining place in Solvang, and this didn't disappoint. It's in a quaint hotel. You can sit inside or out. The bread looked delicious, but we didn't want to fill up. I loved my scallops, and my friend loved her halibut. The side of potatoes and the cream were amazing. Don't forget to get he dessert as well. I'd love to come back here for sure."

"Was visiting Solvang and this place was highly recommended, we decided to do the Tasting Menu created by the chef and it did not disappoint. We brought 2 bottles of our wine, a white and red and our waiter, George (who is very knowledgeable and wonderful) was able to pour our wine to compliment each dish without having to be told. We chose to sit outside and the weather was very cooperative. Food: Taste and presentation was on point and amazing.; Atmosphere: Very inviting. Service: 5 stars. I think at one point, the chef came out as well to check on us. Will definitely be back."

"We visited First&Oak on Saturday night for dinner and we were very disappointed by the food and atmosphere/ambiance. The food was not as good as expected (bib gourmand), not savory, lack of flavor, except for the beef tenderloin (luckily for 56$). I can’t imagine how they accepted to serve the sea bass, the presentation and the taste was missing! We tasted the 3 desserts and only the passion fruits tart was good. Unfortunately, we will not come back."

"Wow the service and food was amazing. Felt so taken care of and all the dishes were so amazing. We had a 5 course tasting for our anniversary which landed on father’s day and was blown away by every dish. The waiter even sent us a few freebies of wine to pair with our food. Would highly recommend this place."
