"Update: First, let me say that the Buffet hasn't been offered since before COVID. Some reviews (fake?) Say that it is still open, but it is not, we even asked the waiter, he says it has been years since it was offered. That being said, the food is still delicious. I tried the charcuterie board this time and it was awesome. Nice selection of fruit, at least 8 types of cheese, plus some nice meat, crackers and bread. The atmosphere is a little sterile, but we do like stopping here. Very friendly staff, and excellent selections. My wife said that the curried herring was the best herring she had ever had. She got the sampler but with all 3 choices being the curried herring."

"My husband and I visited Solvang for a weekend get-away from LA. We loved the holiday vibes in this small town and this restaurant was one of the highlights. We dined in on a Saturday night mid December and were so glad we made a reservation ahead of time. Wait time for walk-in's was >1.5 hours! We were seated right away and service was a bit slow but pretty good. We sit out on the patio (covered and heated), which we loved. I had Flaeskesteg, and my husband and I shared the artichoke dip. Both were absolutely amazing and perfect. Even the red cabbage and picked cucumber that came on the side were done to perfection. The price was more on the pricier end (even for me -- I live in downtown LA and am used to seeing ridiculous food prices). I'd still say it was worth it! I really wanted to try a Danish dish for dinner and am glad we tried Bit O'Denmark!"
