Smart & Final Extra!

"This is the first and only Smart and Final I’ve been to. I went in there to walk around and check out their items. They have a fully stocked produce section. Everything else looked like they sold in value packs but the price wasn’t even better than regular stores. I was looking at their water, and I didn’t like their selection so I left. It was cold in there. I wouldn’t go back to this place."

"The Asian checker is so rude. This is the second occasion that I have shopped here and he has been rude at check out. I will be avoiding his line in the future for sure."

"Well, what can I say? Writing this feedback is my second attempt to alert Smart and Final management. It appears the management of Smart and Final doesn't know about the customer service of their store at Goleta. I wish I could never have to go to this awful store again. All the cashiers are so miserable, and I can't understand why. Is the pay bad? No, benefits? PLEASE find another job; treating customers the way you do is not good. PLEASE find something that can make you happy. I know things are hard right now, and Santa Barbara's living cost is absurd - I get it - but that doesn't mean you will be miserable with your customers. So management, please do something about it. Send your cashiers to minimum customer service training and do us all a favor!!!"

"The smart and final here is pretty decent if not a little on the smaller side of them. The selection is decent and the liquor is pretty good amount to choose from for a quick shop. The staff seemed pretty friendly and over all not all to much to complain about."
