"ok but every time i go i feel like i'm being tortured by the most terrible music ever. why do they do this? it's all very lyric-heavy music but where the lyrics are absolutely horrendous. can't they just play normal top 40 hits or oldies like every other store? sometimes certain areas like the makeup areas and bathrooms will play normal/better music."
"A very well stocked and clean store for a Macy's. Actually have encountered friendly staff, I remember that store when it was Capwells then Emporiam, I used to work for Christion Dior and sold to both Macy's and Emporiam, 40 years ago."
"All Macy's are the same. If you are favorable with Macy's and know what you are looking for, you can find some cute things, sometimes at good price. I found a couple dresses at a good price. But if you need customer service, forger about it. It doesn't matter if you are in this one in Walnut Creek or the one in Honolulu or even their flagship store in New York, customer service is never, ever a priority. And lately, they all have these huge areas with big clearance signs hanging over. It just gives the feeling if being in TJ Maxx or Ross. In fact, I found a Calvin Klein dress at this Macy's which I had just purchased for half the price at a TJ Maxx. I don't go out of my way to shop at Macy's. I usually only go in of killing time or in the case of the one in Honolulu, because it's a good place to park my car because there are always spots available."
"Several floors of shopping. Mens clothing and shoe department is what i remember as all Macy's being, full of choices, clean friendly associates and more than one fitting room available and open. Doesn't make you feel you're shopping in a third world country. Make Macy's great again."
"Maybe I am picky because I used to be in retail, but I always find customer service at Macy's just ok. It is not bad, but it just never extraordinary for me to give them 5 stars. Having said that, most Macy's have a very good selection and usually some great sales. They had good deals at this location, but I find their men's department too be small. All in all, a good visit and picked up 3 coats to get me through winter when I love to Tennessee in November."
