"I walked into Madewell today just looking for jeans. It was quiet and empty in the front of the store but I still grabbed two jeans and a top. When I reached the middle of the store, Alice found me and immediately relieved my arm and put my items in a dressing room. She was so friendly, kind, attentive, fashionable, super knowledgeable, and honestly a breath of fresh air! She gave several recommendations and I ultimately only walked out with a purchase because of Alice’s service. it takes me a while to find the right jeans so I never buy the first time trying also because I need sizes that the store doesn’t carry. In the end I did buy the jeans that she suggested I try on that I wouldn’t have grabbed myself! She was absolutely fantastic, I truly wish there were more Alice’s in retail nowadays."
"Typically the interactions I've had at this location are fairly good. Unfortunately today my interaction with the store manager Bernadette was poor. There was a misunderstanding with a return process, unfortunately the store manager Bernadette did not handle it well whatsoever. Her tone of voice, body language, and eye contact were hostile and unprofessional. Bernadette didn't seek to solve the issue at hand or maintain any level of integrity. What a shame Madewell."
